Talking about Sage... I'm now focusing more on her expressions than when I first played season 3, and it looks like Sage is lying about the memories of her mother later in the season. Near the beginning she reacts like this:

The way she moves her eyes in the beginning and her reaction when MC asks if she ever looked into her mother gives me the feeling that she isn't just thinking about it as a boner-killer. To me it feels like she knows who her real mother is, but wants to forget/not think about her. With what we learn in episode 11, my guess is that she likes the time she was with her mother as a kid, but that she hates/dislikes what her mother currently does.

Sage's mom is trans and became Mr. Hoff ! That's the only reasonable explanation.

I'm pretty sure I've talked about this before (what else is left to talk about :HideThePain:) but I'm hoping that as their relationship progresses, there will be less of this and we'll be more and more on the same wavelength. There was already some of that in Episode 11, hopefully it grows and improves instead of stalls for the sake of a cheap joke at MC's expense, even if he is pretty stupid at times.

It is noteworthy at least -if not suspicious-.

A week ago or so, I was discussing something with Spock and I had a theory:

Well, if you look past Divine Quinn :KEK: there's that blond woman. IMO, it's plausible that she is Sage's mom. We know the square root of jackshit about her, and the only thing about her that connects her to Sage is that the woman is a junkie and that maybe that's what Sage meant with "(...) but I was rescued from a life I don't want to imagine (...)" when she confesses to MC when hanging out with her in Ep 8... But, then again, it's plausible that she is her mom and that she knows who she is, just as plausible that I'm very. very wrong

Yeah, I am also curious if we ever find out what that woman needed to delete for Quinn.

I read it a bit differently.

We know she has a mental block about her mom (can't even look up her name) so being asked about it just caused her to snap.

Her expression, to me, just reads that it's something she hates to think or talk about.

Yeah, it has multiple ways to interpret it. Seeing her reaction in ep 9, I think she put up that mental block because she's afraid to find out more bad things than she already knows.

Nah this haircut is the best she ever looked.
