To be fair, I think every girl is set up for a psychotic break. The are all small steps away from their first kill.
Josy- who know what is going on in her tumultuous mind.
Bella- past trauma brought forward may cause her to snap.
Jill- already killed one of Tyball’s balls. She could escalate.
Maya and Derek- come from abuse. They could repeat history or kill out of desperation/ self preservation.
Sage- her fiery attitude could become worse if her drinking escalates.
Quinn- she a literal poster child for darkness.
Arieth- is clearly Leah’s mother.

I think so too, but now that all MGs, Derek and MC are becoming closer as friends it will serve as further character development and interactions amongst them at the very least. The mood was very lively and happy before Derek's Alton Brown failed cosplay, and the aftermath of the contracts' retrieval or not was just the start of that.

Yes, it will matter only on her path, but I think it will affect the other's to a lesser degree.

I think it's gonna matter on any route, but on Bella's path MC will have to pick up the pieces and thanks to the room reveal, we'll get closer insight into her marriage, the reason for James' leaving and (what I expect to be true) her mental issues.
That's defo the first path I'm playing as well

Bella has apparently forgiven him for something, and wanted him to come back.

It might be as simple as forgiving him for leaving her - either by literally going through the door and never coming back (due to a fight/duty call or anything else) or by simply dying.

I think the twist will involve Lynette. There has to be a reason we are getting so much of her backstory. It cannot be divorced from MC's life - it has to intersect with it in a tangible way. All three of Jill, Bella, and MC will have a deeper connection than is currently revealed, which will hinge on how Jill and Bella became so close, which will be related to the contents of the room and a theme of adultery (another reason for cheat points).

Now that I think about it, Bella might (unfortunately ) be the last MG to get the ILY scene, maybe even in S4 depending on how screwed up both the reveal and the aftermath are. Huge meltdown is a given and the circumstances could probably be too tense for a while for MC to belt out the three words. Fingers crossed we're getting it in E12 anyway.

Now that I think about it, Bella might (unfortunately ) be the last MG to get the ILY scene, maybe even in S4 depending on how screwed up both the reveal and the aftermath are. Huge meltdown is a given and the circumstances could probably be too tense for a while for MC to belt out the three words. Fingers crossed we're getting it in E12 anyway.

Unless the reveal is something absolutely braindead like she is another Leah, I don't see why the ILY wouldn't be said in 12.

I'd argue It's probably the best time for her and MC to have that moment, MC telling her he loves her can act as a way to stop her spiraling too much. Maybe I'm just coping, It's time damnit!

I've been working on art all week. I did pose some animations and wrote some dialogue, but mainly I aimed to complete static renders for the big scene I started working on last week. And I'm almost done with it; I need another day or two before moving on to the next scene.

I plan to continue creating art next week and will move on to work on another, even bigger scene. I haven't counted the number of characters in it yet, but it should be at least 20. That means I will start by working on cosmetics and environments before I can create the scene. It will be a new environment, too, and that means more work than reusing previously made environments. I estimate that the scene is roughly 30-40% bigger than the scene I almost completed this week.

Also, next week, I will upgrade more PCs. Again, thank you for the support that makes it possible for me to obtain this hardware.

A new preview will drop sometime this weekend.

For Episode 13 just take the release date of E12 and add like 6 months to it.

So instead of a nursery or some room dedicated to James, it's more like the scene of the end of their marriage? As for the parents.... hmmm, maybe it used to be Bella's room as a child? We've seen pretty much her entire house, there's only one bedroom. This could be a second one, BUT that would be a pretty lame reveal.

I could get onboard for that idea.

On the subject of the layout of Bella's house. Her bedroom was probably her parent's bedroom and the secret room probably is another bedroom, but I think the downstairs reading room is Bella's old bedroom. Or the secret room is the master bedroom and Bella couldn't bear sleeping in there and moved into her old bedroom. That would actually fit really well. It was her parent's room and when she had the miscarriage and James left Bella moved into her old room and the secret room became a storage place for everything from her past including most of James's belongings and the stuff meant for the baby. And pictures of Bella's old friends including one of Bella and Lynette.
