Technically, by the letter of the rules as they've been reposted in this thread a while back, if I'm remembering correctly, the game couldn't get an abandoned tag before September 2026, but there's nothing in the rules saying a dog can't play basketball, and nor is there anything saying that a game will automatically get an abandoned tag, just that it's eligible to get one after a certain point - when it's been at least 18 months without a release, or when the dev has gone dark on their usual sites.

I'm looking forward to seeing whether or not BAD actually gets tagged next September (I'm guessing probably not, but I'm not at all confident about that guess)
