after halloween,it shows a little preview and then cuts to hospital where a lady is getting talking to doctor and then my game crashes. does anyone know how to fix that?

We have been straight up told Bella's age.The other big potential timebomb in the Bella romance is just their age difference.
She's 36 at least. (She referenced pledging a sorority and Hell Week as being 18 years ago. She was a freshman so she would have been around 18 then.)
So, she is literally twice the MC's age.
She's a smart and realistic woman, so I could see DPC making that an issue or even a relationship ender towards the end of the game.
It all depends on whether or not DPC wants to crush our hearts and souls.
There's a few other points where I think you are misremembering, but it could of course be me misremembering. I need to confirm, but
I'm fairly sure Bella says something like: "They said he could still be alive" about James (either ep 8 after choosing her or ep 10 after TGBBQ). It's still vague, but it would imply that James disappeared in circumstances where he might have died, but his body was never found.

And I'm also sure the library making out happens after Bella is asking James for forgiveness in her head. Right after it to be exact. So if it's about MC it's about the drunken kiss.
Edit: Checked it. Not getting screenshots, but Bella's wallowing in regrets takes place just before the library make out session.

That "Halloween preview" followed by a jumpcut to that other hospital scene is a telltale sign of the game detecting a mod. I use the newest version for S3 myself and never had a single issue, since newer versions account for such detections.
Since this is verging on going off-topic -which is against forum rules-, the only thing I can say is this: use the newest version for the appropriate executable (S1 + S2 and S3).
