I'm doing a J&M run and Derek didn't bang Arieth this run, I'm trying to understand what caused this.

No, this only happens if you lose the shot-drinking contest.
After drinking three shots, Derek gets drunk and goes home without doing anything with Arieth.

This is important because then the camera in the storage room will only take a photo of Jacob and Ariet. This means Ashley won't be upset with Derek for Arieth's situation and that Derek can't be the baby's father.
How do you think can reveal to the player who the father of Ariet's baby is? Ideally, by the end of the year, Ariet should give birth, and we'll see the baby's skin color. And here comes another interesting point.
Will the choice of winning or losing the contest affect the baby's skin color? That's interesting: we'll either frame my brother Jacob's, since everyone will know who the father is, or leave Dawe blissfully ignorant, but it's metagame to know that Derek is the father. Yes, Derek says he can't be the father because he used her anus, but we can see from the photo that's not true (typical Derek). Derek should take some enlightenment classes from Tiffany.

I wish. My hands tend to get stiff these days, so those mouse-moving games like the drinking, the wall painting, the tennis, hell, even the toy for Riona(of course, the first time I didn't know if you just kept trying three time it would automatically win the toy, I spent fuck hours man) minigame require a lot of determination on my end just to win one of them. But I am a try-hard gamer at heart, and I spend hours on literally one minigame, which is a major reason it takes me so long to finish my playthroughs

Happy Friday, everyone!

This week, I finished the environment design for the biggest free roam event in episode 12. After which, I dressed all the characters for it.

Initially, the work was slow because I wanted to spend time designing many of the characters so they would look as good as possible. But after the first 50 characters or so were done, the remaining ones were knocked out in under a day's work.

I've been writing dialogue for three days straight, and I'm roughly halfway through the free roam event. It's a tricky event to write because of all the branches and variations. But I'm making good progress, and I'm feeling a range of emotions while working on the dialogue.

I want to push on writing dialogue next week, but I also need to return to creating art very soon. I only posed a few animations this week, and the render queue is currently at 18.

I plan to write until my fingers bleed or the free roam dialogue is written, then jump back into creating art, focusing on some of the planned animations first.
