i"ve downloaded the game to start over and in episode 5 special render #8 Riona #4 in tybalts bathroom wont let me click. Any suggestions?
Gotta keep spamming left click. It does take a while for no apparent reason.

If I remember correctly, what I always do is click on the seemingly missing bit from the book.

Yeah, it's entirely possible that things going off the rails won't be a result of Magnar's plan, but I think it's likely that events will be related, with some consequences affecting others. DPC has said that one of the big influences that made him want to make this game was the movie Revenge of the Nerds. And Magnar's plot is likely to come to a major climax by the end of Season 3, which is theoretically going to be the overall climax of the game. That's why DPC is calling Season 3 the "penultimate" season. Season 4's largely going to be the epilogue/fallout of the climax, based on what DPC has said in the past. He might be faking us out, though.
Well, technically speaking, it is the penultimate season because it is the 2nd last one. Him accurately referring to it as that doesn't necessarily mean S4 is basically all epilogue and that Ep 12 is going to be any kind of dramatic conclusion to the main story. He's also said that he knows he needs up to Ep 14 for the main story and then it "gets blurry", almost like he's saying he hasn't quite figured out what the epilogues will be like and what else he'll included after the story is done.

Ep 12 probably will move the chains of many of the plotlines so that the next couple of episodes after that build on and carry them to the conclusion in S4 but I don't necessarily think we're there yet, but I also think Magnar's part won't play the biggest role in it.

Okay, let's get started.

Letters EP3
The two letters in EP3 aren't from the Nerds. They're from Tybalt. Why? Chad only attacked the MC because he thought the MC would send him the pictures. Chad only thought that because the MC spied on him in EP2. Anyone who looks closely at that scene will see a tennis racket and self-tanner on a bench in the locker room. Both are items Tybalt uses. Later in episode 7, Tybalt tells the protagonist that he did not play with his own tennis racket. Why not, you ask? Chad smashed it in a fit of rage in EP2. Tybalt caught Chad, his sister's ex-boyfriend, in the locker room with Troy, took a picture, and later sent it to Chad.

There's only one question left to answer: How did Tybalt get the pictures from the DIK laptop? That's a tough one, but I suspect Nick is behind it. It's a faint clue that leads me to suspect this. When Maya and the MC are on their rounds in Episode 1, we see Tybalt on the phone outside the Mansion. Then, when they arrive at the DIKs' place, we see Nick on the phone outside the Mansion.

I'm thinking that Tybalt wanted to get revenge on the DIKs because they were in his room again, and he saw an opportunity to get rid of a rival (the MC).

Cathy's pictures: The ALPHAs didn't initiate the Cathy Cluck, but they did distribute pictures of Cathy around campus. They simply took the picture of the Cluck and copied it multiple times.

Episode 10
We already know who distributed the pictures in Episode 10.

Letters in Episode 11
Plan A is designed to ensure that neither of the two main instigators nor any accomplices are caught.

Plan B is designed to keep the two main instigators secret, but make one accomplice a martyr.

The main instigators are Isabella and Sage.
The accomplices are the NERDs, with Magnar becoming the martyr in Plan B.

Sage and Isabella have been working together on Sage's dissertation since Episode 7. In Episode 7, Isabella already told the MC in the car that Tybalt would get his just punishment and that she found the Mobbing Clucks (Sage Clucks) quite funny. Isabella is also the ruler of the NERD realm, where Sage has been several times due to her dissertation, as we learn in Episode 9. Sage tells Isabella that she already knows her keywords and has seen Isabella in this outfit. Sage is also practicing calligraphy, as you should have seen in Episode 8. Nothing was planned until Episode 9. But since Episode 9 and in Episode 10, all the LIs become friends. Then the whole thing with Tybalt's melon sex happens. Jill and my MC agreed that Tybalt shouldn't be deprived of everything, including his presidency. Sage and Isabella hate Tybalt, and I think that's why they would have definitely decided differently. Therefore, both Isabella and Sage start working on a plan and look for allies, which they find among the NERDs.

The envelope addressed to Anthony is meant to sever the connection between the HOTs and the ALPHAs. Sage already learned in Episode 8 that there was something more between Ashley and Derek. Derek had also become a good friend of Sage's, and she would have been keeping an eye on things. Then, at the DIKs' Christmas party, Ashley and Derek got together, which is why Anthony received the envelope. The Thanksgiving barbecue was another factor in the decision, as everyone involved heard that Arieth and Anthony slept together there.

The envelope addressed to Dawe is her form of revenge against him for spreading pictures of Cathy on campus, for always talking or writing shit, and for ordering the destruction of the DIK mansion.

The envelope addressed to Chad is also a form of revenge, but at the same time, it's meant to be a liberation for Chad. That's why Caleb was told to open the envelope at the ALPHAs' Christmas party, so that it would be from Sage. Caleb was manipulated into opening the envelope in front of all the ALPHAs. Chad would then have no way to back out.

The real stroke of genius, however, is Tybalt's letter. In it, he is blackmailed into resigning as president and publicly admitting to writing the EP3 letters. This, he claims, could restore peace to campus. If he refuses, his melon sex pictures will be released.

If everything goes according to plan, then Plan A will work. No one will ever know who wrote the letters in Episode 11. But on a battlefield, Plan A rarely survives. If it were to come out that Isabella and Sage were the main instigators, it would be possible for them to lose Jill and the MC's friendship. They don't want to take that risk, hence Plan B: Magnar as the martyr. He enjoys that role anyway. He takes all the blame, thus protecting not only Isabella and Sage, but also his NERDs. This also explains why Sally isn't allowed to be around the NERDs anymore. Her proximity to the HOTs and the DIKs jeopardizes both Plan A and Plan B. Now, what's in it for the NERDs? Isabella is taking things a bit easier with the library, and Sage is a Burke, the Dean's daughter. It's always good to be able to call in favors.

But Plan B also goes awry because Maya opens a door. Maya sees a flip chart with pictures and notes. She looks at the MC and waits for his reaction. However, the MC is not horrified by the flip chart, but by a picture in which he sees Isabella, James, Neil, and his pregnant mother.

Well, hot damn! That is what the word technically means. In any case, he's referred in the past to the last season being an eplilogue/tying up loose ends/fallout season where we see the consequences of prior events/choices. Like I said, though, he could be misdirecting us, or he could always change his mind. And it's certainly possible that he got the pacing wrong back when he talked about the last season.

That being said, I definitely don't think that the end of Ep 12 will be a dramatic conclusion. It could be the climax of the game, but it won't be a dramatic conclusion. I'm sure we'll be dealing with the fallout of Ep 12 in the last season, and there will still be drama.

Are the laugh reacts because of Jill's pic? :HideThePain: it's my absolute favorite pic of Jillybean, I love it, even if it doesn't really fit with the others.
There is the conversation they have in the library. Wouldn't be a stretch for a nerd to overhear it.
Oh true. The nerds still wouldn't know that Josy knows, just a friend of the MC.
I know, but according to what Blue Milk wrote, Magnar only wants to destroy DIKs, and that doesn't make sense because he wouldn't gain anything from it. It's much more realistic that Magnar wants to destroy all competing fraternities just because if his Betas throw a party, the others will have to go to them because no other fraternities will exist and the others won't have any other choice.
Normal dorm parties exist, like the one in Episode 8. Just because the other frats disappear doesn't mean the nerds have cornered the market on parties. HOTs can throw parties too, don't have to invite the nerds.

The main instigators of Magnars Plan are Issabella and Sage was enough for me to bow out...
Seeing them say Tybalt is behind it made everything that came after invalid :ROFLMAO:

He hasn't said anything quite so explicit to the best of my knowledge. I've seen him estimate episode counts and say he needs up to Ep 14 for the story and then it "gets blurry", but haven't ever seen him say the whole season is an epilogue. To me, with that most recent comment about needing up to 14 makes it sound more like those next 2 episodes will still be story build up episodes like all the previous 11 and then it's conclusion and epilogues after that. It'll just be that Eps 13 & 14 are building things more towards the conclusion and drawing things more towards their close than opening up new threads.

You do have a gift. I don't know how you come up with these theories. A vivid imagination.

But Tybalt is too much of a Fredo to come up with any good scheme or any scheme at all.

Oh that was the 2024 Q&A - This year's was a bit different..

As known, Season 4 will be the final season. However, Season 4 will most likely be different than earlier seasons. It's hard to say how many episodes remain, as I haven't decided how I will release the endings yet. I have some ambitious plans for all that, but it's something that will have to grow as the final season is under development. For that reason, I can't say a final count of episodes, like 13, 14, 15... As you probably can tell from episode 11, bigger and bigger questions are getting answers, and fewer new questions are being asked. That's the hallmark of bringing it all home and tying the knot on the stories. It makes me sad to say we're nearing the end of the game, but we are. So, let's savor it together and take it one episode at a time.
So we have dropped a bit - interestingly, the one thing he has always been consistent about is that season 4 is LIKELY going to be different, what that means he only knows, and we can only guess - but I have always taken his shakey episode count and his words about the last seaon to mean that once we get to season 4, we are getting a similar soert of thing to last few episodes on Acting Lessons. No Minin Games, maybe a few choices, but essentially a game thats on rails, tying everything up we have already done. And he doesn't know how many episodes that will take, hence the shaky count
