A couple of weeks worth of outlining and essentially story boarding (while touching up the last little bit of the previous episode) is not the same as 100% dedication to full on rendering and writing dialogue.
I agree it wasn't 100% focus, but DPC said his PCs were never idle.
He was already posing animations for 12 while 11 was in beta testing.
This can be confirmed by checking the very first

on 11/04/25 where he said this:
He wouldn't be able to be at this much done rendering after just one month of work.
So while this might not be 2 extra months of full work, this means the 60% done point used more than 9 months of time. Most likely a bit over 10 months.
Because you are a sarcastic bastard and deserves some love back
Nicole is indeed wife material (if you ignore her job...

If we ever get a Sage X Jill or Sage X Zoey 3some I fear for your health Geralt
Then again, I'm also would be at risk...
Well this one sparked a lot of thought. Coincidentally I fully agree on this down to the order. Jill does have some strong competitors for third place, but it is rightfully hers. I could go into detail and extend the list to top five or maybe even ten, but there is something more important that must be addressed first.
What might surprise some people is me putting Sage before Bella on my list. This does not mean I suddenly favour Sage over Bella because I don't. I put Sage first because with absolutely everyone else marriage is left to the imagination of the player. With Sage it is straight up shown. And it is shown so heavily that I have often thought MC might marry her during game rather than in the epilogue.
I'm going to straight up predict it. In episode 12 on Sage's path there will be a marriage proposal. What I dread is DPC being an asshole and making it a cliffhanger so we won't get the answer until ep 13. What excites me is that I can see Sage being the one who does the proposing. Not as in her doing the tradition in gender reversal and getting down on her knee with a ring, but rather just suddenly blurting it out. The episode goes through its twists and turns and then while watching the fireworks MC says something optimistic about the next year and future in general and Sage just blurts out what she feels. It could be the other way around too, but I really want to see Sage have that moment.
Now if Sage were the only one with a proposal she wouldn't just steal the episode but the whole season if not the entire game so the other mains probably have their own versions of this. I could easily see Jill and Bella having their own moments, but the episode has to do some work in setting it up. I can see it, but I wouldn't suspect it happening if I wasn't so sure of Sage and that's why Sage has the number one spot.
The trick is that while the proposals might make the paths formulaic the relationships will be very different from each other. I see Jill as having the classical romance version and the proposal being a part of her ILY moment which is why she didn't have one in ep 11. The big difference between Sage and Jill is that with Jill she and MC will be engaged in season 4 and plan their wedding. With Sage she and MC elope and season 4 is them actually being married. With Jill everyone will be excited about them getting married. With Sage everyone will be shocked that they got married.
Bella I see as being VERY different. I think the ILY might come fairly early in the episode perhaps even as a part of dealing with the secret room shock. After that Bella's past will get a lot of attention and MC will help her with all her emotional scars. By the end of the episode marriage is an afterthought because what Bella wants is a child. Season 4 with Bella is about preparing for parenthood and dealing with the obstacles of a student/teacher romance. The marriage isn't delayed because they want to plan a big wedding, but because Bella has to get legally divorced before they can get married. Emotionally they are getting used to a relationship that is de facto a marriage and that is why Bella is a challenge to Sage's position as the number one rather than being only just ahead of Jill.
I actually ended up making a lot of predictions there. I do have some ideas for other paths too, but they are more vague and this post is enough of a wall as it is. But one last prediction. If MC had the Quinn/Riona threesome he can't propose to Jill because he won't have enough money for a ring. This might block other proposals too, but definitely Jill's.
Honestly Roger, good point!
If you avoid the Jade grenade, the Sage path feels rock solid already.
However, the one point that might generate friction and delay a marriage is the fact that Sage is on her last year and MC is on his first at B&R.
While I doubt this would cause they to break up it does forces them to wait a bit, unless the MC drops out which would be a terrible idea.
Also interesting point on the Quinn/Riona threesome, DPC does mention the MC had to use some of his inheritance money after spending that much money.
DPC isn't a stranger to make very old choices affect us (Stealing from Jill or getting a handy from Jade both in season 1) so I wouldn't be surprised if that had consequences.
Some people have questionable taste...
You think DPC sent out chapter 11 to beta testers and got it back from them and announced the launch date and still had a week or two's worth of renders left to get done?
Or do you think his render farm was mostly working on Episode 12 renders during the period while the completed Episode 11 was being tested, with only one or two machines reserved for fixing any broken or missing renders?
I know which one I consider to be more likely.
We knows its number 2, otherwise the update would take even longer lol
Progress is progress, I'm proud of ya!
