I think Quinn dying would have to be the kind of plot point that happens only in the very very end of the game. Any earlier than that and you still have to write almost every subsequent scene with her out of the picture regardless of her being alive or dead, because she can't have any significant impact on the plot if she may or may not be present. If her survival is truly in question, it would pretty much have to be an epilogue detail and nothing more for anyone not on her route.

You have to export your final save from the end of Season 2. It doesn't bring over your regular saves directly because Season 3 doesn't contain the scenes from Seasons 1 and 2 - it would break the game if you tried to load from a scene in an earlier season.
