That's fair. Tbh, I don't take any side girl as a serious love interest, I think they're all here just to be part of the hottest scenes in the game, and in this case, Quinn, Riona, Sarah, Melanie, Camilla, Lilly and now Bianca, they're all top tier.

I can see that there's some effort to make some of the side chicks into something more. Quinn is almost achieving the status of a main girl and is featured in most of these promotional posters alongside with the 5 main LIs (In my opinion, she is the one that should be part of the main LIs due to the amount of content that she gets alone).

Lilly, Nicole, Riona, Jade and Nora have this type of development that implies that maybe the things could escalate, but none of these strikes as a serious committal relationship possibility.

I don't really like girls with a setup like Quinn; the identity of a drug addict + prostitution organizer is a bit too much for me. But in my heart, she is still Top 5 in this game, especially after the rainy night scene in Ep6. She is probably the only girl in the current game who plays a role in all different story branches. (Campus prostitution line-drug line-fraternity feud line. Maybe later she will also be connected to MC's origins?). If you experienced all her scenes during S1&S2, in a way, she is the true female lead.

I've always just tended to use "they" when referring to an individual (especially when I don't know them) because it's always grammatically correct regardless of anything else.

Yeah I can agree with that, I just tend to rank the girls with how much they interest me even if they don't really fit into the LI path. Cathy for example would definitely be the top girl in the game for me if she was there for more than she is currently and not just as a booty call.

It is a bit strange that those other girls are all part of the side chicks that come from the choice of wanting to stay single and play the field but then end up on the path of forming a real relationship. Whether DPC meant to keep it as the side girls just being there for lewd scenes or if he didn't wanna have like, 15 choices at the crossroads. I can't remember if he has addressed anything like that but it's something to think about anyway.
