Time for Novel. Ok, I'm a little late to the party: Scratch that, a whole lot late to the party. Real life didn't allow me to play episode 3, though I downloaded it the day it dropped, until a few days before episode 4 dropped. When I searched the thread for comments starting at the time 3 was released, I was flabbergasted at the hate being generated towards M&J. Yes, they failed to admit some things to the MC, but sorry, that does not make them liars. My biggest WTF, was directed at the MC. "Seriously dude, what the hell are you fn crying about?" The more I thought about it, the more confused I became and when 4 was released, I jumped on it. My very first reaction, other than agreeing with Derek that the MC is a fn snowflake, was wanting to kick the MC's whiny ass. I suddenly thought to myself that DPC was lurking the thread, rejoicing in the controversy that caused this thread to explode. I finish reading one page, and ten more have dropped. An explosive thread on here highly increases its visibility, meaning a chance to hook in more subscribers. Of course this is only my belief. If DPC took anything away from AL, it was knowing a possible threesome with two hot chicks was a recipe for creating havoc and controversy. This whole thing left a sour taste in my mouth, and distracted me from enjoying some Jill, Bella and Sage time. Enough rant for now.

i hope that one day dr. pinkcake will reveal his identity, this guy deserve a wikipedia page, he is a true artist a true master without any doubts.
What i really want to know but it's impossible with ren'py (also for a security reason) is statistic of choices in the game, like in all telltale games where you can see how many player did a choice or another, it would be amazing.
But it's incredible that the dev can surprise us with this kind of story, i mean in 99% of the games in this website even among the top games, stories are so boring and generic.
And when i think he is doing all of this by himself with another job it's incredible, imagine what he would do if he had a true game company with other devs, offices...etc

Yes, the MC showed interest in M&J, but it was reciprocated also. And like you said, most of the choices were forced on us by the game plot/mechanics. The reality is, M&J's relationship was on the rocks, and the MC was just in the right place at the right time. Its a fucky/porn game, so methinks that a player would make choices to move in that direction.
I think it is funny when folks post that "I chose to be friends with M&J instead of being in a relationship". Really? You chose that? To get to that point to TRULY have a choice of either being in the relationship or not, you had to walk a pretty fine tightrope to get there. You HAD to "pressures" them into getting involved with him" by having relations with both of them, and then you HAD to just about have them as your sole focus. AND lets be clear, you HAVE to want them BOTH at that point.
By the time of the library scene at the end, Maya and Josy know what kind of person the character is, despite their DiK score or Affinity or whatever...
That, I think is the most disappointing thing about it. It almost feels like DPC got tired of writing that aspect of the relationship and ended it quickly.
Now, that being said, that was just episode 1, and anything can happen, its just a matter of writing it. But it sure feels like, if you've crossed the DIK threshold, DPC burned the M/J bridge behind you... which is biting because you were forced into a relationship with them in the first place.

What i hope for episode 2 though is more content for the neutral path, it's now the most boring path, we don't have any special content like the chick or dik content.

The relationship with maya and josy at the same time wasn't MC goal but just a result of bad luck, mc had feelings for josy she rejected him, after he got to B&R she reached him again and he was starting to know maya and other peoples, then when he return to josy she told him she is gonna leave for good so he needed a last goodbye, then no news from her so the mc moved on and go for maya.
The frendship was the best choice for me, because you feel like you are a third wheel and that you bring mess to their relationship, and this mess will be even greater because they are the sisters of your bros derek and tommy.
I'm really looking forward to see what the friend path will bring us, i hope more then what we had in acting lesson with the actress with blue hair (forgot her name) if we chosed freidnship with her the content was pretty much nonexistent until the end where she got with Liam; basically i want the friend path to be a true PATH and not just the END of the relationship where we are just not have the scenes.
