Does anyone else think Sage being in Jill's piano room has some deeper meaning? Sage also tells Tybalt off in one of Jill's rooster posts. Or maybe I'm looking too much into it?
her father was at the party, maybe she was a prep at some point, or the families know each other

The only way to currently play this episode is to download the full 8GB Ren'py version of the game via the link in the OP, but Steam save files are not compatible with it so you'll have to play the entire game again from scratch.
Thank you for the reply but that post only has till v0.5? (the one on the main page of this thread?)
Is this the one with episode 5?

Yes, 0.5.0 is the full season 1 (eps 1-4) plus episode 5.
Thanks would download it. Thank you for your quick replies.
And although I bought it just last week and played it this week.... I would be fun to play again with scrappy's mod (as steam version crashed when I applied it but I somehow manage it to work later when playing Ep4 so many choices weren't ideal).

Personally I think Maya was not handled right. She got a lot of focus in the first few episodes but since the "twist" at the end of the third her character feels shallow to me.
Since ep2, Maya, is portrayed as the vulnerable sweet little thing the MC is supposed to protect and comfort all the time. Quinn bullies her, Sarah and Melanie mock her, she has a shitty relationship with her father, she must hide her relationship with Josy, she worries about Derek's cheating, she can't deal with the pledges sexual list, she's insecure with the MC because she never felt attracted to a boy before and the list goes on...

I mean she basically spent the whole episode 4 crying and trying to apologise and AGAIN in ep5 the MC has to comfort her because she felt jealous over the fatherly love Josy received from her father. It feels like the MC has to be the "Ken Doll". We don't really see new sides of her character and she clearly lacks moments when she genuinely bonds with the MC and actually offer real support in return.

By comparison, Sage is introduced as the typicall Girl Posse but she has shown hidden depths. The relationship feels more balanced and organic not only because they are actually bonding on several points (guitar lessons, sex-games, mutual dislike of Dawe, romantic issues...) but also because they comfort and support each other. The MC gave her the affection and the attention chad didn't provide and act like a confidant. On her side, Sage spent the whole ep4 helping and warming the MC up. She's more equal and far less needy. Even the whole fuck buddy things become more and more tender and romantic, showing a real progression.

Same thing for Bella and Jill. They share more activities ( Tennis, Yoga, music, cooking, real dates...) and the MC has to be more mature and subtle with them. They have vulnerable side but the MC doesn't have to act like a big brother figure (actually it's the opposite). Their past and connection is also more intriguing.

The fact Maya has to share his plot with Josy don't help either.

A word of caution on using scrappy's mod. If you intend to play future episodes by getting them from this site, the scrappy mod will not work with the future updates and any saves made with the scrappy mod are not compatible with an unmodded version of the game.

So I would recommend that you have two versions of the game; a modded one and a clean, unmodded one. Play the game unmodded first and make all the saves you want, then go back and play the modded version and make separate save files for them.

Good analysis. Sage, Bella and Jill definitely feel like more balanced & stronger characters than Maya (and Josy too tbh) who just don't offer anything apart from being needy and their rather shallow relationship that came out of nowhere.

I'm especially surprised by Sage who definitely seemed to be the most generic girl in the first episode but now she is one of my favourites. Her relationship with the MC has been handled the best so far, it feels more realistic and has good progression.

exactly ,this what i talk about relationship between,MC and Sage, they both suffered betrayal, sage demonstrated as well as the empathy mc for the suffering that both were going through either the guitar sections or sex games, besides the dialogues between them are more open and more sincere and also if you are on the dik route, you note that both combine making fun however and with everyone, that's why I think the best route is hers.Maya and Josy for me died after she omitted to the mc about relationship between them.

mr Pink you surely do have a great talent for drama. Although some may say you waste it on fap games, i for one congratulate you on your fantastic work. Both Acting lessons and this one are right on top of my list. Depth and character definition is something you seldom find in this kind of games, yet you made it seem natural.

Keep up the great work m8!

Maya doesn’t know what she wants and therefore such behavior

Uhm... Maybe something similar to what happened when Jill slept with MC? If I remember correctly, the MC woke up with his hand between Jill's legs... Maybe Jill has some vivid dreams and once Bella woke up with Jill's face between her boobs?

DPC, we need a detailed flashback, please! :KEK:
I think this is a correct theory.
We know for a fack that Jill hugs and humps while sleeping. It give's context to the exchange.
Plus is ammunition for my personal theory that Bella is a recovering sex addict.

Yeah, Maya hasn't changed since episode 1 she is still the damsel in destress.
Sage on the other hand moved from the last intressting to my top 3 main LI, (still team Jill & Bella)
she showed a new side to her in episode 3 and the relationship moves slowly to a more romatic one.

yeah, the moral of the story is that Maya after 5 episodes still doesn't know what she wants.
Idk where is Pink going with her story but it is getting more and more tireing with each episode.
Well, at least she took a big step on their route by doing what was coming and we could just ignore them on DIK route. I'm very okay with that, since I do their route only for content... Josy on the other hand, on friends route was a bit sad to see her situation, not gonna lie there

Same is true for Josy, those two are all over the place. But I don't really care as long as the dev handles Sage, Isabella & Jill well throughout the story.
