In terms of Maya's speech about strings I'm sticking with my first theory, it was Maya saying "You should stop dating other girls because you like us, not because we told you too". Holy Bacchus explanation of it seems plausible too though. Either way I think its going to come back up later in the story if for nothing else then Josy seemed to not like the idea. Don't really see it as a flaw in the story.

Thanks, that's correct. So, if you want to play it perfectly CHICK-y, than you cannot finish this quest as this option is a DIK-ish one.
If this were a single run type of game, then absolutely.
However, with people doing multiple runs for different paths, different homestays and different affinities, having to redo the chats, roosters and swyper over and over again as they can't be fast skipped can get to be real tedious after a while.

Perfectly CHICK-y means totally not touch a DIK status choice at all? I feel really sissified doing that in my run. NEVER AGAIN! It forced me to avert my eyes at every opportunity. Might as well rename the game to "Being a CHICK"

I've found that's true with Swyper, but even on replays I usually enjoy the text chats. It probably has something to do with the main characters feeling more 'real.'

The whole guitar lesson is optional so it has to be discarded.
If it's not some unknown player (which wouldn't be completely retarded since we at what, start of the second season?) and not some far-fetched option like Magnar or one of the jocks who as it turns out hated Chad/Dawe, then we should consider Troy.
He obviously must hold a huge grudge on Chad/Dawe and even slight one on MC. Question is - how he got incriminating stuff but there're plenty of options. He can be connected to some HOTs "opposition" (like Melanie/Sarah), some rat from DIKs (unlikely), getting paid help from nerds or he could be hacker/sneaky bastard himself (also unlikely but why not).

good theory, but I think that since the party in episode 5 onwards there is already the feeling of sage with the MC and not only at the end, besides that I think that this thing that Melaine and Sarah are planning may not be 100% in favor of Sage, because probably the girl that chad is cheating on is Melaine and Sage breaking up with chad will be good for her and consequently for having the mc it will be good for both of them (this if you are on the sage route, otherwise sage would be on worse), but I believe that the relationship between them will only materialize with 3-5 episodes to end the game.
What you describe for Isabella (to change the outcome of mc's evaluation in cafeteria) is not possible by adding points to RPisabellaby but by adding points to the variable ep3_bella_counter which is initialised in header_ep3.rpy. Near the end of the cafeteria event the value of ep3_bella_counter determines the outcome for ep3_bella_came_around which has influence on further options with Bella and Jill. This evaluation is completely independant of the value of RPisabella, but if mc is successful RPisabella is increased by 2. (see update3.rpy)
