It could still be a minor one. Regardless of it you go through with it or not Jade at least still has potential because she still comes on to you. I can see the letter being a cliffhanger and we have already talked about that one. I know you can skip all the phone things except the Cathy cluck, that's the only mandatory one in the whole game so far.

I do have a DIK playthrough in which I told Derek about both Cathy & Jade, because I suspect this will affect the story at some point.

Having said that, I agree with most here that it won't be a major cliffhanger for the simple fact that it's not a universal plot point. What I do think will happen is that it will somehow leak out to become an unsubstantiated rumor and affect Jade's attitude toward the MC, especially any potential conflict between MC & Tybalt.

I find it very interesting seeing all these comments about a possible outcome from the teacher, but I have to agree that it will probably not have a huge impact, after all for those in the neutral/chick path the whole thing is called off without your input(still bitter to have no choice in the Cathy matter, and not even be able to explain to Jade why I didn't show up that night.)

To be fair, "nothing beyond the points in the evaluation" is actually a highly likely scenario. After all, all the DIKs were sworn to secrecy right after viewing the video. If it does leak, then all of a sudden, having a DIK "rat" posting that Cathy picture becomes a lot more probable.

Actually it would make if you're a DICK.. for ego's sake... not only a teacher as well as a feminist... a trophy, two major quests in one go alone, it's more than reason to do so.... but of course the invocation of the vow of silence to all brothers by Jacob would be called just like it is called on Dereks accomplishment if we don't tell him. or at least I think it would since I never told him about either Jade or Cathy... but there is reason to tell if one goes Full DICK (basically a self serving asshole)

I don't see DPC wasting an opportunity, but maybe that route is the intended one for that person. It's like Maya, if you care about her you're supposed to tell her about Quinn, but that seems counterproductive at first. Who knows...
