nah man, maybe I‘m a minority here but I can‘t stand Bella and don’t like Jill that much. It kind of already is, I totally agree. But it used to do a better job at hiding it (I don't agree that all adult VNs are, some are, some aren't and some have a decent build up that makes it look plausible. BADIK used to be the third type), and if he keeps adding more and more porn tropes it will hurt the story a lot. The game is an inch short of adpoting both "harem game" and "all women are secretly bi" already (yeah, I pretty much consider it a harem game at this point). This is either the calm before the storm giving us a false sense of security or then the story will become more generic and dull. I think we should trust DPC and give him the benefit of the doubt for now, but it's not looking good.
We've already had this discussion, I'm not going at it again.
I'm fine with the potential of "harem" setup, but for folks who don't like it you can always reject people. And from the way the dialogue goes I get the feeling that going "just friends" with Josy & Maya may actually provide an option in the future to pursue a relationship with them again. Which would be great since I've generally got no problem with J&M, I just wanted to get with Jade. Though Bella is my favorite. Sage is also good. My top 5 (no particular order): Bella, Sage, Jade, Maya, Jill.

It's not about liking it or not, or rejecting people or not. DPC fancies himself as a serious writer, and the game treats itself and its story seriously. For now it has realistic characters and a plausible and realistic story, but if this trend goes on it will end up being just another porn game with a cliché story with some plot twists from time to time.

I don't know, I strongly suspect whatever happened to Ashley has more than a little to do with Derek. It's possible she might be another another victim of Quinn's menu, but given we know that just happened to Mona, it feels wrong to have double up on the same story with Ashley.Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that out of all the characters, Derek is the only one that doesn't seem to have any baggage?
I mean i'm straight AF though, but I feel I would choose Derek just to avoid any unwanted emotional trauma...
If I'm right, I think Derek will get his share of drama (beyond whatever fallout he gets from Maya's eventual storm).

I don't think it's a one to one map. Sage is Mona's mother, and Sage seems not to be part of the scheme. Sarah is Ashley's mother and she is definitely part of Quinn's menu.
We know Mona was joining the menu, but the only thing we know about Ashley is that Melanie and Sarah thought it was useful to know what her limits were. Given that she storms out of the sauna when pushed, it still seems too soon to try bringing Ashley onboard.
In either case, my point is that it would feel clunky to have both Ashley and Mona endure separate traumatic events in the same evening while turning tricks (or trying to). That's why I think something else is the cause of whatever happened to Ashley.
