I think this is more to do with the fact this is an adult game than it has anything to do with the characters within the story.Seeing that Bella preview screenshot made me wonder about her and Maya. Far be it for me to slut shame, but those are two characters I would have expected to dress the least provocatively.
It would have made more sense for a married, late 30's, sexually repressed librarian to dress ultra conservatively at the beginning of the story and then gradually dress more provocatively in each consecutive scene with MC since his magic dick "reawakens" her. I did see her in a pant suit in ep. 1 so I guess maybe she does have a slight progression??
As for Maya, in ep. 1, she says she doesn't want to attract any attention from guys. Uh, ok. Again, not to judge but you're wearing open midriff low cut tank tops with super short mini skirts, booty shorts and visible g-strings. Women don't wear g-strings for comfort, quoting an ex GF. I know lipstick lesbians are a thing, but if you don't want college dudes macking on you every 5 seconds, then check the attire. I think secretly, she does like the attention from guys. Daddy issues.
DPC, as the dev, wants people to be drooling and fapping over these characters so he puts them in revealing and provocative clothing even if it doesn't match the type of character they appear to be. It's the basic porn trope where you'll have this totally stacked babe playing a shy, bookish "virgin", but she's wearing a halter top that barely covers her tits with no bra and a short skirt with no panties; it doesn't match the character because it's a case of, "it's porn so who cares?"
I don't think we can read too much into the chosen avatars for his Discord, especially since only about half of them seem to be from renders that we'll see in the episode itself. Perhaps Josy will have a prominent role in this episode and DPC doesn't want to show too much of her to make people think the opposite.did Mr. DPC himself forgot that Josy is a LI too?

I just finished a 5.0 play-thru in preparation for 6.0 and noticed something . . . slightly disturbing. If you have the saves, go back and look at Jade's facial expressions in the scene where she grabs the MC's butt. Then look at Arieth in the scene where Dawe finally get's it hard and notices things are looser than he remembered. Could Arieth be the Burke daughter from the third picture frame?
Now I've always considered myself a strong advocate of the Jade/Sage Mother/Daughter theory, but it struck me that there was a pretty strong resemblance between the two. Someone please tell me it's only my imagination.

Nah, what is killing her off are her fans, they always find something to cry about. If I remember correctly someone made a spreadsheet with the calculations M&J have more screetime than anyone, the entire season one was about them and yet they complain.Or he could be killing her off?!
Wanna bet that there will be complaining after ep6 release about special render since it's quinn's turn?

He didn't promise any dark turn, he simply warned that there may be things in the game that could affect people and that could literally be anything without having to go as far as AL did.Just wait until the dark turn the developer promised at the begining happens.

Saves will work but the patch won't. The full 0.5.2 version that is inexplicably still the one linked in the OP (even though it's been mentioned countless times that it's problematic) is an unpacked version of the game and the patch doesn't work with that. If you have the mod installed then the patch won't work and there's no way to remove the mod as it overwrites several game files and removing them would break the game.
You'll either have to download the full version when it's released (all 11GB of it) or try one of the links from my earlier post to get the clean 0.5.0 version which will work with the patch.
The mod error fix should work as I believe it was made to be universal, however DPC said in the changelog that they've made changes to certain variables in the code, so it's possible it might not work anymore if some of those changes affect it.

I know Jill has some bad close ups, but come on, "alien", "a man disguised badly as a woman" that some of the worst things you said about her looks and I've never noticed that she resembles what you just said. I know her design isn't "perfect" in all categories but I think she is still one of the most attractive and expressive characters in the game.
