right now, it would not make absolute any sense. It's not in the story in believable way, it would be out of nowhere, if Sudenléy Tommy is like upset that you fuck Josy, He might be upset if you Fuck his GF, but may be not, becase he cheat on her

I stopped liking Maya after the grind pre-cumpetition.
I don't care if she was "forced" to do it..
As the way I see it, even if she had a gun to her face, nobody should be able to force her to do that!

Both from MC perspective. And Maya's own "insecurities".
This whole scene is breaking her character, and the "innocence" she supposedly have.

MC was asleep.. She hopped on him without his consent.
Somebody she had no relationship with what so ever.
This is the only reason I'll ever need not to like her.

My first playthrough I did try flirting with her up until this point.
Made me restart the playthrough as I didn't have any save points left prior to first meet with her.
Most playthroughs after, I was completely negative towards her from first meet.
Still get that scene.

I did like Josy, so when it was revealed that they were a "package-deal", even she was a no go.

But that shit is not OK!

If it was a male that hopped on a female the same way, he'd be in jail by the end of the chapter..

There should've been an option to throw her off, and leave to live elsewhere already at that point.

So like some say here, that people get "butt-hurt" cuz of her "cucking" and what not, is slightly generalizing a bit too much.

That's fair. A character did something (on the first chapter!) you didn't like and yet the game forces all her drama on you during 5 chapters more (so far) just because. So your fury is against the game itself because you're not given the chance of forgetting her even when you decide to stay out of the love triangle. That's on DPC, at least he was smart enough to put out a wide cast of hotties to pursue

Whether there will be a problem between MC and Tommy depends on what the real reason for Josy and Tommy's bad relationship is.
If Tommy just wants Josy not to interfere with his "fun" - then Tommy might even like that MC is with Josy. - Then Tommy will ask the MC to have the MC spend more time with Josy (so Josy doesn't see Tommy's "fun").

If it had been revealed she had a boyfriend and was straight, then in Ep 4 the MC makes an empassioned plea for Maya to be with him instead, nobody would give a shit about anything Maya did before this, I guarantee it.

I'd really love if you would stop postulating on other's feelings. I cannot speak for anyone else, but Maya has always been my least favourite of the LIs. Before her relationship with Josy was revealed, but she only got worse after.

She's feels like a mean girl masquerading as a meek, conscientious person. Every time she's onscreen's like a plot blackhole where we get sucked into the singularity of her self-centered issues. She's gone and dragged Josy into it. The biggest thing is she's a hypocrite. MC has to drag her kicking and screaming into being truthful to you when she demands 100% truthfulness from him.

Pretty much everything listed by the post you responded to point-by-point shows why I don't much like her. Beyond that I can't say I'm a fan of her sex-negative views. Beyond that she's just a bland "primary romance" character with none of the charm the others have, in my opinion.

Sure, the reveal made me dislike her more. Not because it was with Josy, but because she's the only character who didn't put her cards on the table like everyone else said. She intentionally told half-truths to mislead the MC and player. Josy, Sage, Bella, every other character in a relationship were clear about it (making the MC the bad guy haha).

That said, I don't hate Maya. She's just my least favourite LI. I can understand why other people like her, I just view her differently.

we,don't, but we do guess some of the thing right, it's like with tv series or with movies, it's inevitable that some theories eventually will be right. My concern is that, he might afraid to be predictable and therefore He will try to make unnecessary twist, and turns that would not make sense, for the element of the surprise. like the fucking GOT season 8.

Come on, it's not "pointless drama" it's fucking entertaining. Without all the drama in this game, it'd be bat shit boring. To quote my own post from a short while back (and this was before episode 6 I think):

To be honest I've never heard you explaining your position. It has always been "He's such a bad writer" and "Drama everywhere", but never an explanation about specifics.

COBD is very good game and my 2nd favorite
not as par with BADIK in story writing and presenting

Katie is only LI that matches/is at par with Jill or vice versa but again story part is where her character lacks

I do like CoBD way above BaDIK simply because it's an actual story. Like with things happening, no melodramatic shit threw to your face without knowing what the real deal is and why your MC seems unable to make what you feel it would be the most obvious choice at important times especially after being given tons of minor choices along the way. Again, it's like watching a good action movie against watching an over-acted soap opera. Sometimes is better to have a good plot with cliché characters than having (trying to have?) polyedric characters and a blurry plot (at least to this point), mainly because when you put all that effort in showing character's behaviour, forced changes on it for plot reasons will be more noticeable for players. But if that's your thing that's OK. My virginal playthrough in CoBD (I don't really like any of the girls there) is one of the most satisfying gaming experiences I ever had, considering the limitations of an indie developer using Ren'py engine (limitations that DPC also masters and overcomes)
