If they're not in a bf/gf status when/if she finds out about other girls, then it's not cheating, is it? I also question whether Sage would want to enter into any kind of relationship again after what's just happened with Chad. She's clearly very hurt by the betrayal but also by how much effort she's put in and seemingly got almost nothing back. Also, since she and Chad would both have been graduating this year, she may have thought they'd leave together and start a life, but that's not happening now. But it's not just the hurt over Chad that makes she won't want a relationship, it's also the MC.

He's a freshman first year and her getting into a relationship with him presents the issue of her graduating and leaving B&R, and him still having the rest of his college years ahead of him. So either the relationship only lasts a year, or they have a distance relationship, or he leaves B&R to go with her, either getting a job or finding a college in the area she moves to. She might not want any of that because in the first 2 scenarios, she could view it as unfair to both of them to start a relationship knowing that it won't work out long-term, and in the 3rd scenario she could view it as unfair to make him upend his life for her. Obviously, that would be his choice, but it's not uncommon for people to feel that way about those that will often put the needs of someone else ahead of their own, and I could see Sage thinking this way; to feel that she wouldn't want to put the MC in a position where he uproots his life and future for her, so she'd rather keep him at an arms length even if it pains her to do so.

Ultimately, I think the Sage progress could be quite interesting because she certainly seems to be gaining some feelings for the MC, but whether or not she wants a proper relationship will be the question going forward.

Aside from one playthrough to get any lewed scenes she may have, I'll probably ignore her in all other playthroughs if DPC brings her back. I'm over her.

Another one I did not see coming. This has been a very strange set.

As yet another side girl or temptation, Zoey is pointless. I agree.

But she was also the MC's best friend for years. That aspect of her could be interesting if DPC chose to emphasize it when Zoey finally shows up. As someone the MC would be willing to seek advice or support from, she would be a very useful tool to tease out what the MC is really feeling or to illustrate the change in his character since the game started.

Unfortunately, the best way for her to do that is if she never presents herself as a rival for the MC's current affections. That means no gratuitous drama or hot lewd scenes. Which means this almost certainly isn't happening - unless maybe the game goes long enough to move past a quick reunion fuck and still keep Zoey a character. Seems unlikely.

I agree with you. I, as off the ending of ep6, dont like Maya and for that Im completely uninterested in her. But the reason for that isnt the fact that I dont like her as a character, its more so the fact that I dont like how DPC handled her writing for all paths.

As of the ending of ep 3 (which was my 1st time playing BaDIK) Maya was actually in my top 2 LIs and I had my rankings like this: Sage, Maya, Jill, Bella and Josy (Josy was this low because I was just waiting for her to arrive at B&R). I was a bit hurt by the fact that Maya omitted the relationship, but my MC isnt a pure one either

Then DPCs writing of my Full DIK MC in ep4 really disappointed me because, for example, my MC was more butthurt about M&J than he was excited to be with Sage and the HOT asses in the movie night . And at the end of that episode my MC shot his shot and was rejected, which made my Ranking for LIs like this: Sage, Jill, Bella, Josy and Maya.

Then ep5 and 6 came, and it just fueled my dislike towards her. And that is, once again, because of DPCs writing. The fact that an MC that ISNT in a relationship with Maya has the same reaction (or the fact that he is even involved ) to her dramas (mainly the ep6 finale drama) as an MC that IS in a relationship with her is just BS and ep4 all over again.

If they were best friends I would be more inclined to accept, but they arent. So a boyfriend as the same reaction as a normal friend? (knowing from experience, the answer is NO)

Concluding, I dont hate Maya I just dislike heavily the fact that my MC is being written as her boyfriend without being her boyfriend
