Quinn is still responsible for her actions, nothing changes that (tho her past explains some of her behaviors). Same goes for Mayas choice on how to solve her problem. (Not how she got there).

I wouldn't be surprised if it did open up with some kinda flashback with Maya (considering that's where it left off), at the same time i wouldn't be surprised if it started with a distraction from it for suspense.

There's been way too much thought about Quinn. She's obviously not relevant to the endgame. It's not as though she's going to end up president of the HOTS when Sage is gone. Her only value was in financing the HOTS and since that's gone she's basically of no value. She's going to be selling herself to pay her tuition but who's buying? No one who is getting it elsewhere free, like the MC. The most Quinn can do is be a problem for the HOTS and not for long. Too many people have dirt on her. If they threw Chad out of the Tri-Alphas for fighting you know they would toss Quinn for prostitution and drugs. All it would take is a word to Jade or Cathy.

Some of the people here must be on some good shit to be coming up with these conspiracy theories but they don't fit the plot.

Hmm, perhaps because looking at James' picture makes her feel ashamed or upset just like how she feels when she knocks over her wedding picture. As for Bella's father, we know he is dead, so again it might serve as a painful reminder...especially having to look at a such a large picture every time she steps foot in her study. If it's her (dead) child, then same thing, a painful reminder. I haven't decided which one, but it could be any of the three people. I don't know who else it could be since those are the mostly significant family members who are no longer currently in her life. Generally speaking, people only hang up pictures in their home of their family or very close friends. I also think having MC as a regular visitor has something to do with Bella wanting to hide away the picture.

The endgame is obviously being president of the DIKS and getting his picture on the wall of fame. There's not really anywhere else to go with it. It's not like the MC is going to graduate and still be loitering around the campus wearing his B&R jacket.

I'm not sure I understand everything, but yes it is curious that Bella keeps her wedding photo out and hides the other picture (if that is James). Didn't Bella say her parents died something like 10 years ago? That seems a pretty young age to die of natural causes. If Bella 25 then her parents might have been in their 50s? Also, very unusual for both parents to be dead. That makes one think that is was one "accident" that killed them at the same time.

I have not been here for long time, so I do not know what kind of faction wars took place in the past. Currently the discussions seem civilized to me.

So, it seems that it will take a bit more of what I expected. DPC on his last status update seemed pretty optimistic so I even started to believe that maybe we could get an early realease on friday 16th. I even started daydreaming about an update this very friday, 9th.

When the last status update came out, I said it would come out around the 14th with a margin of 3 days up or down. Let's see if I'm right

Ok, but here is the thing. For one side you have a porn game, and that means a fantasy. Fantasy had not the obligation to be morally right, but it has the obligation to be entartaining, and that a lot of times means that fantasies had to be morally wrong. Yet there is nothing wrong with that because is a fantasy (except that you are some sort of fundamentalist of any type).

But you also have a story. Nothing prevent anyone to judge that story like you judge any other story, and we all actually do that in this forum in many different ways. So even if that story also means a fantasy, its also some form of representarion of the world in wich we live. It was build from an understanding of that world and people will judge it and talk about it from their understanding of the world in wich they live. And by doing so they would do it from a moral code, and they will push their moral code.

I understand that people get sick of moral arguments because its a dense topic and we came here to relax. So i apreciate people who laugh and make jokes and who soften the mood, i also try to refrain myself to argue about moral topics. Yet is not true that moral codes don't build the way in wich we understand this story like any other story. And i dont mean people joking or choosing one playthrough, thats just fun. I mean the people who actually speak seriously about this story.
