Lily has been the character that has improved the most next to Josy in this update for me, as she has gone from being a toy to rivaling Quinn as best side-girl ( for me better than her ).

Where is this mod? And will it make the game crash or anything?
You'll find the mod on the first page among the download files. Although I encountered some unexpected changes with the mod vs without. Noticed there is a 7.2 bugfix out now, so that might be sorted.

No doubt - the interaction with her at the HOTs party was awesome. It was the first time for me she felt like a legit romance option (even though I know she's not an official LI).

So unless there is a some anti-gay or otherwise really cringe route, I see Chad and troy panicking and confronting the MC. DIK route will be rude against them, maybe bashing their heads for good measure and chick a more diplomat approach. I don't see blackmail or mocking for being gay. However I think they will confront the MC about their blackmail and that part of the plot can finally move forward. I also think the MC might force/convince Chad to come clean with Sage.

This is actually a case where DPC didn't do enough research about American law and got the facts wrong to a degree. If you are under a certain age (I forget the exact age it might be like 21 or something like that) you cannot get a federal student loan without your parent's permission. And basically all loans are through the federal program. Maya needing her dad to sign her loan is not out of the ordinary. Also the loan money would not be sent to her father at all once it was applied for and approved. It would be given directly to the college and then any left over for given to Maya by the college. There was a case of someone I knew in college where she was estranged from her parent's and could not get a student loan because they wouldn't approve it and she was too young. There are exceptions in cases of abuse and the like however but you need to appeal it to the Department of Education. Josy who's parents paid for her college in cash instead of loans on the other hand did need to wait for her dad to turn over the funds like we saw in episode 5.

Who knows.... we'll see in the future if the "side-girls" can have an ending too or not xd
I think those two should be DnG only scenes. Could be a lot of fun and so far would not make sense in the story otherwise (but we never know, maybe the nerds are the evil masterminds after all).
Regarding Heather, I think it will be super tricky to pull off (something like Chick playthrough, she must not see you like a creep, and you antagonise tommy).
Heather ignores your existence when you're chick. She's a solid DIK path.
