I mainly worked on a free roam event this week. It took a longer time than expected to complete it due to the new environment design, the number of characters per render, and the sheer render count. But the art for it is queued up for rendering now, and I will continue to pose static renders for normal scenes.

There are currently 33 animations in my animation queue; it's also taking longer to render some animations than expected due to environments and the number of models in some of the animations (wink wink).

My development folder is currently 2.5 GB bigger than v0.7.2, equal to the new content I've produced thus far for the episode. And I'm not done until the season finale has the content I planned for it. I'm just as eager to release it as you are to play it.

I'm so disappointed. I figured DPC would have dropped us a few half-decent crumbs by now. Either DPC is much closer to finished than we think and wants to drop Episode 8 as a surprise, or (more likely) he's still a long ways off and doesn't want to explain why the numbers are so high with no end in sight. Well, might as well rerun the old charts just to keep the lights on.

Technically, I just lied: I updated the Overall Progress chart to include the percentage vs the animation target DPC let slip a couple weeks ago. But even by that estimate we're still stuck speculating that we're probably in the realm of 66% complete - which would translate to a release around 2021/10/08 if all went well. If we go by DPC's own estimate that he was 30% at the end of June then we're only around 53% complete and will probably have to wait until 2021/11/19. So yeah, I'm saying more or less what mpa71 already estimated, just with a lot more words and colors.

Guess we'll just have to rely on news of those hot hot group sex animations to tide us over. Unless...

I've never been a big fan of large group sex, especially if it's going to be with the strippers. I'll take Envy and Lily, maybe Brandi if she is available, but any more than that is overkill. And as far as the dancing is concerned, if it's more Anthony style animations then...meh. It looked funny for him, but when it comes to the girls, I think the quick series of still shots with music and flashing lights is better (ex. watching Sage dance at the first party). Yum!
