What you say about Chad seems to totally ignore that he is gay and just plays the boyfriend with Sage because it was the occasion to show everybody that he's the typical straight muscular guy.
He doesn't care about Sage, she is just a tool and his reaction towards the MC was not jalousy, it was because he thought that the MC was responsible for the pictures he received. And of course he had to show everybody that Sage is his girl as the alpha male he wants to be seen as.
But for Sage it's the opposite, she is in love with Chad and even if the MC is her fuckbuddy just to fill he sexual needs, she will not give up on Chad so easily.
I guess that if the MC tells her about Chad and Troy later she will not believe him and maybe ditch him for trying to tarnish her love.
And if someone comes up with a proof, she will be devastated.
What i like in that story is that the characters are not one sided, just like Quinn, she is not just a nasty bitch and Chad is not just the typical gay. They have mixed feelings, Chad is gay but doesn't really accept it because he has that social position of the alpha male of a group of bodybuilders!!
And those guys who seem to be so "male" are playing butt beer games !!
So that's full of hypocrisy, doubts, insecurity, a good perception of the universe of young adults and that's why this game is so good despite of many flaws.

Sage has status and influence, plus she's also the girl frat's pres, even adds more status. The leader of the Alphas could only go for someone like her, hehe.
You can see he doesn't want to hurt her when he dumps her in a dumb way. He waited until Sage developed feelings for someone else, so when she gets dumped, she'll have someone take care of her.

Also, why would even Sage ditch MC after he tells her about Chad's situation? Firstly, it's not his business so he shouldn't poke his nose where it doesn't belong. This can have huge consequences for 2 other people.
Secondly, Sage has her suspicions already about it. She said something like "You have a hot girl like me in front of you but you kiss her forehead? Are you gay?" to Chad. So, if she discovers his situation, or if MC tells her, she can add 2 to 2 and knows it's the truth.

BUT, I still wonder why Melanie was afraid of Sage. Apparently he's gay, so why be afraid?

You seem to forget that as players we can see all the gestures and facial expressions. Of course, Chad doesn't see sage's look. The MC doesn't see that look either. But we as players see it and can draw conclusions from it.

we could suspect that there was something going on between Melanie and Chad, Sage has no reason to suspect that.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but Season 2 of Being a DIK was posted on Steam a couple days ago as "coming soon". So the next episode and final one of this Season must be almost completed! I've been trying to stay away from spoilers for this season and I can't wait to discover all that is new once I get my hands on it. As always, DrPinkCake you're doing amazing work and it's worth every penny. I thought I was getting into another generic porn game, but the story is actually quite engaging, fun, and witty. I'm finding myself becoming a completionist with this game finding all the secrets, scenes, and achievements. Keep up the good work!

I finally got through the 7th chapter. Still a great game, a big compliment to the developer, who has always managed to deliver quality from day one.

Towards the end I had to laugh, so let's finally find out who Chad was cheating with. Poor Sage

But I'm slowly beginning to wonder what actually happens if we don't manage to finish renovating the DIK headquarters in the end? Game over? Or if we are successful, do we get another secret render? I almost made it myself. The windows have been bought, only 1 task is still open. That will be next time.

Then i had a look at the 2D artwork. There is still a lot locked, lv 2 and 3 are not yet integrated into the game. I'm slowly getting curious, how big will the game actually be in the end? after all, we're already in chapter 7.

The player on the Dik route lost Josy and Maya in the end of sesone 1. The chick player lost a Queen. The score is 2-1 in favor of the Chicks. I think that in the season 2 finale we will lose another dik girl on the way of the chicks to even the score.
The idea of the game is that with the help of the system of choices you can do either good, cute things and be an exemplary boy and a romantic. Or you could do the bad actions and become alpha male. If we take as an axiom the statement that there will be four seasons, and the second has already passed so with each season the hero must decide which girl he wants to be together, then there is not much time left.
I am sure that Sage will leave the player from the way of chicks because of feelings and jealousy for Josy and Maya.
Anyway, the ending should be powerful and we should lose something in the way of both routes. Otherwise, the way of the chicks/neutrals will remain the most preferred always.
