Interesting. But at least that would give Bella and MC and good excuse for being together at the restaurant. Sure beats Jill and Tybalt or Jill and Jonathan walking in and being completely surprised to see Bella and MC sitting there having a romantic dinner.
Honestly, this has been my fear all along with the upcoming date. Someone..be it Jill, Nicole, Jade or take your pick (or even an antagonist like Burke)..will walk in and discover the two love birds, thus killing another one of your "relationships." That is certainly DPC's style.
Out of all the spots in the city to run into a B&R acquaintance, it just has to happen at the one time and place Bella and MC are visiting for their date. :cautious:
If Jill saw that, the fan art should show her, the next day, visiting a gun shop and getting the most expensive gat there.

Yeah... Especially when she told MC that she would not hesitate to play dirty in order to "win" (the swimming pool scene if MC stays with Sage in EP4). Along with that abandoned puppy face when she saw Chad left the party in EP7, I can't really shake off the sense that Sage was using MC to achieve something instead of trying to develop a healthy relationship with him.

Of cause, it's up to DPC that if MC can truly win Sage over/help her to leave Chad behind after all.
It is also possible Sage was curious about who's room Chad walked out of.

Look, on the other points I agree, but they are all related to the fact that BADIK is undoubtedly a game of another level compared to AL, is much more ambitious, has a much larger cast. then comparing the final of a small game to an intermediate stage of a major one, it is normal that in the second case you have greater freedom

but on the point I made, you are very ungenerous. let's start with the premise that for me, both reactions are plausible.
but it is not true that in BADIK MC runs away from a love failure, he runs away in front of the fear of failure, in fact nothing has happened, he just suddenly sees in danger both the relationships he counted on and finds no other solution but to run away.
on the other hand, to reduce the drama of AL's MC to a bereavement, seems to me to be really bad... it may be a secondary aspect but he also loses his house, and finds himself living on a mattress in a friend's house. then it was not an acquaintance of his who died, but one of his very few friends, she is described as very introverted, one he trusted so much that he put her in the house. in addition to this the victim was undoubtedly the best friend of the girl he loves, so not only he is in mourning, but also the person closest to him is in a state of shock. Add to these considerations that Mc feels guilty for various reasons: because he thinks he is partly responsible, suspecting Melissa's stepfather, because it was a danger that he knew, that he faced only by baiting him without solving anything, he also feels guilty because he COULD have saved her, the fact that he did not physically succeed does not solve the guilt.
does not seem to me an unmotivated crisis

everyone can prefer what they want, but both MCs at some point decide to behave in an instinctive, irrational and from our point of view as players, inevitable and completely unrelated to our choices
Of course I'm ungenerous. I hated the end of AL! I'm not inclined to cut it any slack. :p

If you feel the MC's behavior in AL's finale makes more sense than the MC's behavior in the Maya/Josy crisis, we can agree to disagree. But I still feel we have less lack of control over the MC in BaDIK and that the crisis in BaDIK makes far more sense within the context of its story than AL's.

Ok, totally off-topic at the moment and perhaps allready even discussed but i'm still wondering and who knows someone got an answer.

In episode 6 after Quinn got ambushed the MC (can) helps her and takes her to his room.
When he gets her something for the bleeding nose she takes out this magic 8 ball.

"Don't count on it"

Is it a hidden message or a clue? I really can't connect the dots here other then not counting on sex which does happen. Or does it goes deeper and is it meant for a possible relation?
Really wondering what you all think about that specific scene.
She could certainly have been asking a specific question to herself, as in…

Maybe she was asking herself if she could get a happily ever after ending with the MC.
But I think it’s also meant to be a reflection back of what her life philosophy is, as in don’t be dependent on people, don’t take things for granted etc, which is clearly her default attitude. It’s significant of course that she then promptly does the reverse, and opens up to the MC, letting her guard down.

More on the nose though is that she’s just come from a drug meet where she asked for an 8 ball of coke.

both reactions make sense to me, always taking into account that AL is a great indie game and BADIK stands as a AAA title. (if anything, what I don't find believable is the sudden Olympic calm of MC at the end of the fourth chapter)

in the story of Maya and Josy, the first narrative cycle, what control do we have? for the story we are still more or less seriously in love with both, and whatever our path there are only two epilogues: inside or outside (the rejection is only accompanying drama). it seems to me a story that goes on automatically where we decide the color of the curtains and the taste of ice cream :ROFLMAO:

She could certainly have been asking a specific question to herself, as in…

I also think it's a very personal reflection, like, "am I ever going to get out of this situation." , "will I ever have a normal life", "will I ever be just another girl".

I want to see Jill angry. Show some passion and fight for the guy you want! It should make her think about her situation. She is on a date with a dude she doesn't like while the man she does like is sitting across from a pretty lady. Take action woman! You have already seen flashes of Bella and MC hitting it off. Even naive Jill should know something will happen if she doesn't pick up the pace. BTW, although Bella's dress is pretty, I think it's funny that she dresses sluttier and shows more cleavage at her job...as a school librarian...than at the local pizzeria. o_O

Maybe it's true that Chad is gay will be the only way to break out of the circle of fuck buddy.
In fact, I see two ways here:
1) To tell the truth. - MC and Sage become lovers. Sage takes offense at Chad and feels humiliated and curses him
2) Don't say anything. - Sage and MC remain fuck buddy.
P.S. By the way, I noticed another detail in Sage's character here. As a girl from a rich family, the status of her potential boyfriend is important to her. Chad was a successful athlete and a leader of jocks. As soon as MC became the unofficial leader of the Diks, Sage began to be interested in him. Is it a coincidence?
I don't think that necessarily has anything to do with her family or societal position. I think it's just a case of most women being naturally drawn towards men with power, position, status, etc.
Yes, and a "successful athlete" is a bit of a stretch. Chad is a meathead weightlifter with beady eyes and a fucked up nose who leads a bunch of morons. This is hardly anything exciting for a rich family to be proud of for their little girl. Sage might like the status of being with a "leader," but the family not so much. And in her final year, things like that (being with a head jock  ) matter less and less for a student with visions of "real life" looming on the horizon. And can't forget, Chad was kicked out of his job as president meathead. What little clout he had is fading.

Speaking about Zoey, she's definitely going to appear again (I mean, she has a bio on the phone) but I think DPC is going to make her return even more impactful for the MC by making her Vinny's girlfriend.

I also bet they both will appear at the end of Episode 8 at the Halloween party.
Fine, he can have her. I hate Zoey and her dumbass blue hair. No amount of sad, sappy music and internal, moody MC dialogues will make me suddenly have feelings for a character that I never cared about to begin with. If Zoey's return on the arm of Vinny is supposed to kickstart the rivalry with MC, then DPC is going to have to do better than that. He'll need a much larger calibre of porn game ammo.

Let me add my dime's worth into this debate.

Zoey can never come back and expect to be a side girl.

She fucked the mc. They split up. She's off fucking some other dude. Then she comes back? Hello?! NTR much!!?

:p
What you always have with your NTR. Also, it wouldn't be an NTR because Zoey and the MC were no longer in a relationship. (y)

Also, if you read my post correctly, there is a possibility that Zoey is and remains just a good friend. (y)

Also, I never wrote anything about Side Girl. Not even Mona was a side girl and the MC could still fuck her.

This post of yours is really weak.

Another thought on Zoey. I always assumed that Zoey, Josy and Tommy knew each other. But why? In Zoey's flashback, it's mentioned that she has a friend whose brother can get alcohol.

But if you look at it closely, that could have been Maya and Derek too.

Zoey always brought vodka before they fucked the MC.

On Josy and the MC's first date, Josy brought vodka that she had stolen from her father's closet. She was able to blame Tommy for the missing bottle.

Somehow Derek knows a lot about vodka and he also has a sister.

Let's see what connection DPC makes.

I don't think Zoey will participate in the story in any significant way. Unless we are allowed to fuck her and it will somehow affect the relationship with one of the LI.
Zoey is just a story about the past failed relationships that everyone had. And her story is fully completed.
If we accept the possibility of Zoey's return, then we need to recognize the possibility that the MC can fuck ALL the FEMALE characters that are in the game, including the girls from the swiper, with whom he exchanged a couple of phrases. And secondly, I don't think that DPC will pull off such a plot twist as the RETURN of a FORMER LOVE for the SECOND TIME.

you are losing your touch. Maya and Derek lived in another city (a 2 hour drive).
Maya does not have an older brother (they are twins).
And I doubt Zoe ever met Josy, but I'm too lazy to research, think and write anything reasonable.

I have been thinking about EP8. A Mayan solution, the new pool and the new gym.

We definitely don't know about 3 rooms in the DIK mansion yet, although it has already been pointed out and we still have 2 rounds of the repair game in EP8.

Laundry room
A laundry room is actually from the beginning, suitable for a pool. It is a wet room.

Boiler room
A little space created and you could integrate a sauna.

Attic
The attic can also be converted into a fitness room.

With such a conversion, it could come to what Maya once said. That there are apartment communities, but they are very rare.

Sounds great, doesn't it?:cool::D

On a solution for Maya, has pointed with Jacob. He says at the beginning of the HOT party in EP7 that they are ambassadors. Could it be that Sage wants to enforce that Maya goes abroad as an exchange student and / or for an internship times for several months. All faked, of course. Someone else goes on the trip, takes a few photos and they are then edited to make it look like Maya is in the pictures. Now, if the DIK Villa passes for a community fraternity, then Maya could also be sleeping in the DIK Villa.

Just a thought. It doesn't have to come exactly as written down here. It is just a basic thought.:rolleyes:
