I agree with your pt2
Tommy: "Look MC, I know you are not happy with the Hell week treatment, and I am not going to say sorry. It is our tradition that maggots have to prove themselves worthy and willing in order to join DIK. But now you have passed the test and become one of us. In the future if you have any problem, just tell your brothers, doesn't matter who, Rusty, me, JamJam, whoever, we will do our best to help you sort things out."
or
If MC is a dik, Quinn: "Look perv, you know besides fast food, we also too serve... liquor... but only to clients who are.... "licensed". Say are you interested?"
But nope, MC became an instant hot shot XD instead.
But when this combine with your pt.4...
Of course, this is just hypothetical, we may never prove our theory/glance at the full picture before DPC release the whole game. XD
I do think the character development is a bit too quick I guess? It takes only 1 season to transform MC from a nobody the hot shit that we see in S2. What I was going to expect was MC would begin to be accepted by people around him. like2) The MC is becoming more of a Mary Sue. Now this is always a problem with porn. Porn its a narcisistic activity, its self congratulatory. On top of that, mary sues are a frecuent problem in modern fiction. Yet Badik was different mostly couse it avoided it the first episodes. The joks hated the MC, the preps too, the nerds overlooked him as an idiot, even the DIK's didn't care too much since he was a maggot. Quinn and Sage were just sex no love, Bella thought he was a stupid kid, even Josy and Maya, the cutest ones let it clear that even if they like him he was just one wheel in the tricycle. On top of that he was broken and insecure.
Yet since ep 5 everything started to change. The DIKs become less of a cool gang you want to be with, and more of the group of "beta" male MC club fans. Quinn is less of: "let me show you the dark force, kid, see?, this is weed" and is more of a: "Wow, this is a relationship daddy, show me how it works?". The guy plays the Pachelbell song on a classic music concert and becomes a "Rock Star".
As a result we have line after line of: "Wow MC you are so cool/great at doing X/ big/ handsome/ strong/ intelligent". Sometimes is just ridicoulus and you laugh, sometimes is lame and you feel embarrased, but mostly is boring.

It makes me think that the real shit storm is coming. With the storytelling pattern of AL (things are looking real good, a nice place to put a full-stop if it was a fairytale before the oh-shit moment). I'll say S2 prolly is a "transitional season", preparing the MC for the meat of the story.BUT for pt4 said:4) Lack of drama (yeah, lack of it) Everything work so fine, everything is so cool. If season 1 was a struggle to remain in college (literary survival), season 2 concerns are girls troubles, which one of this hotties should MC choose from. It's like one of those shows where a guy has to choose between girls. Even worst I am picking all in different saves so...
MC status has not been really challenged since he join the DIKs.
