DPC investing in music is a waste of money, a HUGE waste, I just mute every adult game I play as soon as I start anyways. And everyone talking about things not being "realistic" is really funny to me. Real life romance/relationships are nothing like a damn porn game. The Jill romance is some stupid Disney love story nonsense, and all the other relationships are a mess from a realistic perspective, but it works for a porn game, I enjoy them in a PORN GAME. Of course since this is DPC he'll probably end up throwing some needlessly melodramatic nonsense in later, like killing one of the girls off for no reason. Like the nurse in the first game he made being a yandere was stupid, there's nothing "realistic" about that. I'm really hoping it doesn't go in that direction for this game, just rather stop the prostitution ring (which is also a stupid plot point, just be cam girls, its fucking modern times. It would pay wayyyy more too than selling yourself to some college guys) and get the happy ending with your chosen love interest
I mean, I mute the music too - because I have my own music or movies or whatever going on my other screen. But given the number of posts from people raving about the music, it clearly ISN'T a waste of money.
It's all about reaching a wide audience, you know? He's not trying to write a game just for you - he's trying to reach the broadest audience he can, at which he is obviously successful given the size of this thread, the popularity of the game every time it releases, and the size of his Patreon. Jill is MASSIVELY popular, so some people obviously like her story. (Which, of course, doesn't negate your characterization of it being a Disney story - Disney is pretty fucking popular!!!!) And the prostitution ring isn't just for college boys - it's for the rich businessmen who are paying for their scholarships. Also, some women would rather keep things private, rather than having a permanent record on the internet for all to see.
All of which is to say, you're just complaining about the stuff aimed at other people. Don't worry about it. Enjoy what works for you (really great looking renders, animations, good sex scenes, whatever it is), but understand the rest is a part of DPC giving the game broad appeal, and making his living.
