Exactly. It could be the same scenario play out, where one (or both) of them leave school to be together. Not outside of the realm of possibility for sure.

The worst thing that usually happens with these kinds of games is the developer getting into a clusterfuck of story branches by keeping introducing more and more characters (see Milfy City). The better games are usually the ones with a small cast (Acting Lessons). The second worst thing that happens, and kinda causes the former, is for patreons to get way too much decision-making power; resulting in the story becoming a mess. I counted on DPC being one of the few developers who was aware of both of these problems and thus accounted for them. So what changed? Madame, Envy, Lily, Sandy, Riona, etc. I like all of them, well, except for Madame (seriously, wtf? I thought she was just a joke, but now she keeps eating up screen time), but were any of these characters planned?

Some of the characters were, but I don't think Quinn was supposed to be as prominent as she is. You can see Riona and the other HOTs, Becky and her friends, in the early episodes so I think they were always meant to be there. The Madame is just a time sink that came from nowhere and nobody seems to like her here. I can only guess DPC either has a bizarre fetish or his Patreon supporters are insane.

He watched his mom's movie with her, but he opened up to either Sage or Jill about his birthday and how it affects him and his dad. It touched both girls hearts. I don't feel Maya's monopolised that.

For me, I thoroughly enjoyed Maya right up until the moment Josy arrived. It wasn't due to "the betrayal", it's because her personality felt like it changed once Josy was on the scene. And that can be realistic, people change their behaviour in the presence of others. Maya may feel that she needs to be careful how she relates to the mc in case she hurts Josy somehow.

Death mother beats birthday. It's not even close. It beats everything. For sure he has intimate moments with everyone, is just that Maya's are deeper. He is not telling Maya his story, he is exploring it with her. You can even say she is the first girl he presented to her mother.

Well, its true after ep. 3 Maya lost protagonism. In part is the trouple, part is the constant fighting, part is the fact the MC no longer live with her, and i suspect girls polls has something to do with it. Also Maya's relationship went faster than any other one, so when they catch up Maya loose protagonism. On top of that now we have a single route for both girls, and that disminished them.

But if the fate of Maya is to become like any other LI's, we didnt reach that point. She just had a more human connection.

What do you guys and gals reckon Josy sees in Maya? Like why is Josy so into Maya in the first place? I don't see any chemistry between them at all.

On that note:

Cool relationships in the game:

• Bella and mc - It was just sex, but it was really hot sex.
• Derek and Ash - They were definitely cool together, I hope Anthony hasn't knocked her up!
• John Boy & Elena - They're like that couple that finish each other's sentences, totally know each other inside and out.
• Magnar and Sally - I don't know what just fucking happened with them in the last episode, but that shot when you ring Magnar for his services and he's holding her and she's looking up at him - he's a god!
• MC and Josy - They go so well together, that scene in ep8 at the gym, that's how young love should be, you fuck wherever you can get away with it!
• MC and Lily - Like she says, a DIK and a HOT rolling together, the two new up-coming stars of the houses. A good match.
• MC and Nicole - She's so fucking into him, it hurts!
• Neil and Lynette - Apart from her dying 9 months after he fucked her, I'm starting to like the dynamic between the two in her diary.
• Quinn and MC - The best part about the relationship is other characters starting to realise what's going on.
• Sage and mc - Best chemistry in the game right up to episode 6. It kinda went a little down hill after that, fucking rebound bs!
• Tommy and Heather - It's a fucking train wreck, but in a totally enjoyable way.

Not so cool relationships in the game:

• Dawe and Arieth - She's cucking the shit outta him!
• Jade and mc - She's thinking about how much she hates Stephen while she's fucking the mc.
• Jade and Stephen - Just get a fucking divorce already!
• Maya and Josy - They are too depressing together. The only saving grace was the diarrhoea shit joke.
• MC and Jill - It's so sterile! Hopefully after Tybalt got buried and they fucked it'll take on a new life. I wanna see her getting frisky with him at college. Considering she instigated their first time together, there's significant hope for her.

On the fence relationships:

• MC and Maya - There are some really sweet moments earlier on, but the throuple has just complicated it.
• MC and Zoey - Need more input!!!

There are other potential parings (mc and Riona, or mc and Sarah for example), but there's nothing really in these relationships, so I'll leave them out.

It seems to me that it is more a question of contrast or that the tree does not let you see the forest. The chemistry between Josy and the MC is automatic, you buy it as soon as you see it, it's like in acting, the role is well written and the actors add even more chemistry, it dazzles. The chemistry between Maya and the MC is built, it goes step by step, it's not instantaneous but it grows as the story progresses.
Josy and Maya on the other hand.... DPC doesn't throw their chemistry in our faces from minute zero, nor does it give us much time to see the construction... The flashback he showed barely gives us an idea, but very fleeting, and the anecdotes they tell tell tell us that the chemistry exists, but at the same time we know so much about the bad moments that it's hard for us to see how that chemistry works or worked.
It's hard to explain in words the feeling I have at this point, but, just by watching the conversation between Maya and Josy alone when Josy arrives at B&R, it shows love, and I doubt that situation would happen without chemistry.
And I'm interested in commenting on Zoey's part, which so far is only a memory without interaction, which leaves us only with the partial vision of the MC... who on top of that is not even clear what she was for him... there are many points to explore, not only chemically, but in history, in possible retcons, in drama, in fun or why not, she can still be simply the person who knows the MC better not included Neil.
