M and J. I hope Maya's problem with her father will be resolved soon. It's been going on since almost the start of the game, and it adds too much to the atmosphere around Maya, and the trouple. If that's resolved, the problem for them will be dealing with a 3-way relationship, and trying to stay a bit
discreet with their relationship.

Sage, it's going to be tough. She's going to have to deal with a lot of trouble. I think it will be the LI who will have the most reason to dump the MC: if we've fucked Jade, if we've been a restaurant customer, and whatever happens when problems hit her.

I remember dorm talk after and it doesn't change anything, it's not ONLY about what she did, how she wake him up and that later Quinn used taser. It's about not saying simple "sorry".
Doesn't matter if she knew or not about taser, its still fucked up thing to participate in. So her apologizing to mc should be first world that comes out of her mouth.

If you cheated do some more cheating ( OP ) or remove that cheat mod completely delete all saves and persistent and get at it fresh from the start without mods... these are your options ! Just a friendly advise since you have been caught here in chapter 8 DPCs cheatcheck already logged you so cheating onward won't be an option... ultimately chapter 9 will melt down right at the start so guess that leaves only fresh start !

On your 01. I disagree on joining the HOTs for her love with Josy. She doesn't join them because of Josy, in contrary if possible, she would have make it so her and Josy can't join the HOT, she would have denied Josy's dream of joining a sorority. Now, we both know that she join them for the tuition, she still do it even though Josy isn't sure to go to B&R. For the fact that she found out that men can arouse her is true, I still have a doubt, just in case, that it was because the relationship Josy-Maya was bad at this moment. She was perhaps a little easier to seduce (don't know if it the right word to use here) and it's a posibility that if the throuple break it could be because it was a desilution for Maya.

02. Will they become priviligied ? No, most of us think that the Burkes will not be useful for Maya at all, in contrary. The term prince and princess show that it's a childish love (I don't mean a weak love), like everything is good in life. The priviligied peopel that are not the Preps, Rusty, perhaps the prostitution ring, would be student with a scolarship.

Maya wants to join the HOTs because she would then be independent of her father through tutoring and could thus be with Josy without danger. Ergo, she does this for Josy and for herself. This is not pure selfishness, but rather prakmatisums.

You shouldn't take prince and princess literally. It was just used as a pseudonym to express that they may be privileged and/or that there are other teens of important people in the building. Of course, since we know nothing about the family backgrounds of Josy, Maya and Derek, this is pure speculation. However, we do know this. The MC's maternal family is, to use Neil's words, indecently wealthy. That would definitely make the MC a privileged person. In one of my theories, I speculated that a B&R person knows the MC's true ancestry. If that is the case, those people will ensure his safety. This clashes a bit with Quinn's teaser deployment. Not if Quinn and Stephen are working together, though. Here come the Mayan haters again. Just let it go. After all, it's so bad that a sexy girl rubs something on the MC. The joke is actually that the MC wakes up and then volunteers to make out with Maya.

Besides, it's just a theory after all.

So after thinking about the upcoming chapters, I've come to a realization that, out of all the girls, Sage's path may very well be the most difficult.

With Jill, her route is the most straightforward due to how she's the only one that didn't try to hide much from mc beyond her name (and we understand why due to how she wanted to see if mc liked her for who she was and not her family). When her family does come into play, that may cause a little turmoil, but nothing that'll be too difficult to move past. The only way to fuck that up is if mc start's sleeping around again, which with that being a mostly chick route, is less likely. Even with Tybalt, this route won't be that difficult since Tybalt is hella incompetent.

Bella will have some difficulties due to her husband most likely returning, causing her to have a mental crisis, but after some time, she accepts that her husband abandoned her and she leaves him. This will in turn get fixed within a decent amount of time and lead to Bella no longer having doubts as long as, again, mc doesn't sleep around. The biggest issue with the Bella route is Jill due to how mc and her ended things. If mc and her were romantic and she had feelings for him, she's gonna be extremely heartbroken to the point of feeling anger towards mc and Bella. If the Jill option was locked, than she may feel luke warm towards mc at most and may be more warry towards him, acting like Bella was at the beginning towards mc.

Maya and Josy are gonna be interesting as I theorize having them both date mc (as well as Maya's father becoming more supportive of MC) will lead to more conflict due to the two possibly starting to grow jealous of one another, especially if they get into a fight, forcing mc to have to decide who to spend time with. This could lead to the route where mc will have to try and work to keep them together, or lead to a route where Maya and Josy split and thus force mc to have to end it with one of them. Add in Tommy, and that's make it even more difficult when it comes to Josy.

With Sage, the issue comes from something we saw from her, her paranoia. Sage is gonna be the hardest because there's a good chance she's gonna start acting towards mc the way she was acting towards Chad. Mind you, her paranoia was right with Chad, so her accusations were legit, but she did make them without having any proof, to the point she was freaking out on everyone just based on her thinking Chad was sleeping around behind her back. This is most likely gonna happen again towards MC, ESPECIALLY if he's known for sleeping around prior, to where flirting or other girls flirting with mc may set Sage off. Add in the Jade factor where, if mc and Jade were having an affair, will lead to Jade being extremely vindictive knowing that mc ended things with her for Sage, causing her to probably want to sabotage mc, so she'll be manipulating Sage bad. Then if mc is still sleeping around, will most likely lead to a huge fallout between mc and Sage.

Dude, you gotta accept when people are trying to meet you halfway in these discussions.

Maya can be an annoying, whiny, pain in the ass. She has been selfish, and no one is denying this.

But she's not a monster either. She's a young woman whose dad has smothered her growth such that she isn't equipped to stand on her own two feet, or at least she doesn't think she is.

The whole tasering and stuff, while I joked about it earlier, Quinn and her cohort would have played it off as typical. They would have convinced her it was no big deal and Maya would have gone back to worrying about her own bullshit.

As far as she was concerned, all her eggs were in the HOTs free tuition basket, her life was basically on hold until she solved this big issue, and so her own problems are all she can think about.

She keeps doing this, thinking whatever it is, is her only chance, and like the mc says to her in the closing scene of episode 8, "I feel I've heard you say that before, Maya."

So yeah, she needs to calm the fuck down, think her options through carefully instead of these hairbrained schemes (and I can't see the Burkes are gonna hand her a silver bullet either).

So Maya has made a lot of mistakes in this story, and her inability to solve her own issues gets on some people's nerves, like really badly. But other people see her as someone who needs a break in life.

Every character in the game is flawed, and that's great, it's what makes them interesting and provides fodder for discussion. Unfortunately the discussions are typical so hyperbolic that people lose sight of what they are discussing:

Anyway, I refuse to compromise with anyone defending Maya in this scene. This scene is the absolute focal point of my dislike for that character, and all characters like her. There is no defense of her selfishness and manipulation here. Dear God, she's so self centered it's a wonder that other characters aren't ripped apart by her gravitational field.

And leave Felice alone, he's not into Madame. He's just pathetically besotted with KRJ, the poor bastard.
