It definitely feels like the game is intentionally pushing you towards the Chick side in several cases. Considering that 4 out of the 5 main relationships require you to be on either the Neutral or Chick path does make sense, since the DIK path is reflective of non-committal tendencies, but the narrative feels more fleshed out following Jill's branch (Chick path in general).

For those that went down a pure DIK path, how self destructive does the MC become? Is their any weird rubberbanding towards the opposing affinity or is it a natural progression?

Jill is the only girl where you have to be CHICK by the end of episode 8. It’s possible to choose Bella’s and MJ’s roads at the breakfast table choice with permanent DIK affinity (though CHICK is required for certain choices earlier on).

In terms of the narrative feeling more fleshed out as CHICK, not sure I agree. The main story events happen the same way no matter what affinity you have. Possibly MC has slightly more information about his backstory if on Jill’s path but it’s marginal.

If it’s balanced correctly, and I think mostly it is, the game should be providing equal amounts of “flesh” in story terms, regardless of affinity, because affinity is just adding flavour based on a player’s preferences.

The fact that Jill never seems concerned about Bella, or mentions that Bella's had a hard time in the past or anything like that to the mc, tells me Jill doesn't really know Bella's past that well. But Bella probably knows Jill's past better, possibly their association is through Lana...

From Jill's talk with MC in Bella's pool we learn that she definitely knows what's up with James, to what extent we don't know, but she knows enough to understand that she shouldn't tell MC about it.

EDIT: Or at least she thought she shouldn't tell MC, if she really knew about what was going on between him and Bella she probably would've told him him something to try and make him understand why dating Bella might not be a very good idea.

Not even kind of, in amounts or even acts thereof. What is hopefully present is context for the act we do get. Intercourse takes more than one person, and what one person gets from it can be completely different from the other.

In a matter of fact (and mentioned in the game too) girls who are riding horses a lot get rid of her hymen very often... its not just a "rumor" it happens a lot (and yeah i know many girls out of the riding sports... and it happened to them all, talked about it, and my first girlfriend was a virgin but lost her hymen due to riding too) but i would say, it doenst matter... maybe for religious people or so it matters if the hymen is in tact to be a virgin, but seriously it doesnt... Im hoping Zoey and the comments DPC made regarding the changes to affinity now people are locked to a specific one means there will be more DIK choices.

Hopefully Sage will go back to wanting more of a “DIK” mc as a boyfriend. Zoey will have to be a DIK choice based on what little we know of her.

I just want some consistency with Sage as a character and leaning more into the DIK stuff will do that.

DPC never announces on his Pateon when the next update is due, and estimating when the next update is has become something of a hobby on the forums.

Most of the updates are usually 5 to 7 months from the last release, this time though it's not a usual update but an Interlude, whatever the fuck that means, and no one is sure how long it will take.
