The Sage Path is going to be really fun with Zoey returning. Sage is already going through an emotional wringer, and now her (potential) new boyfriend is being stalked by his ex.

Sage: I...I lost my family...I lost my sorority...and now...now, I'm going to lose you...

surfing is her big dream, she takes a lesson in the water and doesn't like it anymore, just as an example
I went to college for three years to be a radio DJ, then I actually became a DJ and hated it, and went back to college for another four years for an entirely different career that I love.

People ARE allowed to dream about something, and when they do it they're allowed to change their mind and realize it wasn't for them.

Another example: I grew up in a rural farming community. There were no ice rinks within 100 miles and there weren't any ponds big enough that, when they froze in the winter, you could ice skate on it.

I grew up always dreaming of ice skating, and when I actually got to do it as a teenager, I didn't like it.

Zoey's character arc is perfectly normal.

Okay... then you ( at least ! ) have not mixed the two of them... they are separate !!! So if the system showed error while extraction why did you bother with it ??? Or better yet why didn't you start with this ??? :ROFLMAO: Anyhow... update your extractor and only engage if the extraction is flawless ! ;)
It worked , Thank you thank you

Being fickle is perfectly normal, but it is not a quality

If you give up something to follow this dream, I expect you to commit to it, all sports fiction is based on a path of sacrifice. If you don't, that's fine, but you don't look good in it.

then, I repeat, the problem is not that Zoey gives up surfing, but that for the compression of time she does it too fast and this invalidates what should have been the objective of the interlude

which then, frankly, that scene is just useless, if Zoey had been good at surfing and despite this had decided to return home would not have been better?

I think running away from my parents' house was impulsive and thoughtless, even Zoey herself admits it. Surfing is just an excuse to run away from home because of the death of my grandmother. In this, she is similar to Sage, who also often makes some decisions that are an excuse, not a deliberate step. For Sage, this is for example guitar lessons, which is an excuse to seduce MС.
And how long did Zoey spend in San Diego? A year? This is enough time to understand that surfing looks much more beautiful in the picture than in reality and that skateboarding is a real passion.

You're talking about "bad writing tropes" in a porn game on a piracy message board where the primary sponsor is Brazzers.

Next, we'll discuss how the female characters in the Leisure Suit Larry games lack the agency that female characters in the Lightning Warrior Raidy series possess.

A couple of thoughts about the interlude.
1)How much has DPC grown since the first episode. It feels like Interlude is a different game. I like everything about it, but especially the narrative design. Game design has always been the strongest part that I even had a suspicion that he worked in a computer game developer company, but here the game is no longer perceived as an ordinary visual novel, but something more. Small cutscenes, Zoey's diary, non-annoying and easy mini-games - it all damn well works.
Not to mention animations. I even got the impression that in some computer games animations and cutscenes are worse than in Interludes.
If episode 9 is of the same level in quality and normative design, then it is better to remove Milf City from the site immediately, since the fact that it is in the first place of rating of the F95 can not be called anything but a diversion.
2)The second point is that Pink really sold me Zoey. But I thought that Zoey was given a lot of time in the interlude, so maybe she is the most developed character at the moment. We know much less even about our love interests, whereas Zoey is a blank canvas for us. We know her interests, what connects her with Tremolo, her motives.
I would not want her role to be limited by the fact that she will become a romantic problem. She has been given too much time and effort for her role to be so instrumental. She could be the first girl accepted into the Dik fraternity, she could be Derek's girlfriend, or she could help solve the problem with Burke.

That's the difference. My mod doesn't use the very last name used (whatever the save) but the name of the slot you clicked on.

I don't know, we did get to play as Patti in LSL3, no?

At any rate, the whole point of the Interlude was to give us some insight into a brand new character. I think it's fair to ask what insight we got.

Zoey discovering she didn't actually like surfing is a fine idea, but the Interlude never leveraged that to make us care about her. She just abandons surfing during a montage, then sticks around until she runs out of money. How that indicates the MC should give her another shot is essentially left to us to fill in.

IMHO, that make Zoey look a lot less mature than I was expecting, which is a problem when the MC's growing maturity was a major plot point in the last episode. I'm even less inclined to favor Zoey over the existing girls than I was before the Interlude, and I doubt that was DPC's intent.
