That's a tough one, isnt it ? I also dont ( wanna ) believe that Cathy had a roll in the hay with Burke, but it looks more likely than not. She semi fessed to it at the bar with Tommy.

The assumption being, that when she said "I didn't know before going there.", is prob not in reference to a gym lockerroom. And then of course the "You hate me." follow up. It's not definite proof, but it strongly points towards it.

I highly doubt it, Bella seems like the most level-headed person in this game, she might hook up with someone else, but she clearly sees through that dude.

This is what Stephen is accused of by Jade and he doesn't respond to it. What he really did with Mona during the preps party we don't know. Yes I know so that in EP6 Quinn mentioned something like that to Mona, but is Quinn 100% trustworthy?

What we do know is that Stephen cheated because that's what Jade tells us in EP4.

In a sense you are right, we dont get verbal confirmation, but we have to apply common sense here. If you're a college prof and your college prof wife just asked you if you fucked 3 students, then if you didnt, you'd probably jump out of your pants to deny it, but his response is silence and a look of defeat and guilt. So I believe for most people, its an 'Admission by silence'.

And then you have the fact, that his wife of many years, reads his face and in response starts throwing shit at him, so to her its a 'yes' and she would know, right ?

Man, it did add more weight to the suspicion; DPC was keeping it vague and left much to people's imaginations if dialogues were implying some "real actions", as they seemed more likely, the actions could range from touching and kissing to real fucking; since the conversation in gender study class happened just days before and Jade was unsure what was between the two till then. it is hard for me to accept that, Cathy, could withhold for years the reality that she fucked her bestie's husband while keeping hanging out with Jade (it's more about keeping secrets than the reality, I would say) the kind of behaviour only you-know-who is capable of in the game

It's in no way an excuse or a justification, I'm with you, if she did it, it's one giant no-no. But she does seem very lonely and in dire need of attention, and sadly any attention seems to do. She did know it was one of her students who she sexted with and she did give him head in her colleagues car, who just spent the night consoling her, so ... how about we agree on : She doesnt always make the best decisions ?

That's usually how alcohol works, Jade is even worried about how much Cathy already drank. And it's not Jade who brings it up, its Cathy. Jade even insta forgives her and then goes on to tell her she loves her and will have her back, so Jade gets 5 out of 5 stars for being an awesome friend imo.

You're right, we probably won't. I didn't check is if that conversation always plays out the same, as I only take the fake ID and hit the bar on my neutral/DIK runs, in which circumstances I'm generally having flings with Jade (physcal) and Cathy (Swyper). Given the verbal exchange we overhear, they could have been talking about the MC for all I know. They likely aren't, but if there's one thing Jade could be pretty understanding about it would be her friend wanting a piece of that meat.

You're dead on, it was the drunk whisper of Cathys name, then she recalls 2 instances where the first time she had 'just' a strong suspicion and the second time she got proof, but we're not told either time that it relates to Cathy, one would assume it does, because she blurts that out right after the Cathy whisper thingy, but it's def kept vague enough to be someone else.
