Almost, but still wrong about Maya. Maya's plan at the time she said this to Josy was to take classes at HOTs with the MC helping Maya.

That was a close call because Josy may have had a plan. She falls in love with the MC and he falls in love with Josy. So far, so good. As Josy walks out of the room at the end of EP3, she thinks to herself that nothing is going the way she thought it would. But what was she thinking?

Theory.
Josy gets involved in a relationship with the MC based very much on honest feelings, but secretly doesn't break up with Maya. Patrick would have been reassured because Josy has a boyfriend. Josy and Maya could have then continued to meet secretly. It just went silly because the MC stayed with Maya and Josy's arrival revealed everything. This could have made Josy's biggest fear come true, causing her to lose them both.

The relationship between Josy, Maya and the MC will not become toxic if this path is followed with all consistency. In a relationship, there are not only sunny days and that's a good thing because only when you go through bad days together in a relationship, a relationship becomes more stable because you can rely on each other.

So your theory can actually only work if the MC was already in the world and Lynette had already died. But why? Lynette and Isabella are about the same age. We know that Neil met Lynette when she was 18 years old. Therefore, Neil could not have impregnated Isabella before Lynette, since Isabella would have been younger than 18. Then came Isabella's college years. After that, there would have been room for a relationship between Bella and Neil. However, little MC would have been between 3 and 4 years old at that point. That could explain the small staircase in Bella's bathroom.

The reason for a separation would not even necessarily have to have been a miscarriage. It could also be that there was a custody battle between Lynette's parents and Neil. The cell phone says that Neil has had a court case before. That can be very stressful for a relationship. Of course, a miscarriage would be even more dramatic.

Want to know how Isabella and Neil might have met?

In EP3, Maya asks the MC what he would do if he had a lot of money. The MC says he would help his father fix up the house and buy him a new kitchen. In EP5, Tybalt writes to Rooster to make sure Isabella has a nice Bohemian-style kitchen. Who is the handyman? Neil. It's also odd how Isabella looks at the MC while he's painting her fence, i.e. renovating it. Does this remind Isabella of James or Neil?

It's not mentioned directly, but judging by the timeline Bella is around 37-38 years old. MC is 18-19 years old. So she was already in college by the time MC was born.

So if Neil and Bella were together at one point, it was probably before MC was born.

I turned in my Sage fan card at ep. 7. DPC ruined her for me. Now I stagger around, a shattered soul, looking for a replacement to fill the ginger-sized wound in my heart but no real contender has appeared. I may be on the Others path until the bitter end.

There is a real gingercide going on with DPC and I don't know why. Sage gets character destruction, Mona gone like a fart in a tornado, and Cathy resigns from B&R without even one legitimate anal scene. An awkward, pantie-less, car ride blowjob is all we get? Sod off with that. You know DPC was done dirty by a ginger in his past. That's why he created psycho ginger Leah in AL and why he continues to extract vengeance in the form of his games.
