Not yet, but I'm kinda hoping we get an MC flashback soon that shows him crawling into her bed and whispering something like "Zoey, I've missed you", before grabbing her and her shoving him on the floor.

Officially, yes. He switched to 64-bit Ren'Py when he released episode 8, there are zero official patches from 7 to 8. There may still be an old unofficial patch lurking around somewhere, but it was only 7 to 8.1 or 8.2. I suggest grabbing the game via torrent (rpdl has a great site for it) and not worrying.

In Acting Lessons, the characters and story are at a minimum, as good as any B grade TV show. It is a good story and for me anyway, the characters are likeable. I played it all in one evening. Loved the bitter-sweet ending. A tear or two of joy how the story was presented. And for all that, I have never played it again. It was special and good.

When I saw that this VN was written by the same person that did Acting Lessons. That decided it. I love this VN and have several path saves.

Same thing for me, I only played Dreams of Desire as an AVN when I first touched Acting Lessons, didn't know what to expect really but I was sucked in the drama of AL (especially Melissa, just wanted to hug her and tell her everything would be fine), didn't care about the sex scenes at all, that's where I understood the magic of well-written AVN.

Didn't expect what would happen at all, hit me like a ton of bricks...

Never played it again, don't need to, the shock created a memory that'll last. Game is quietly sitting in my AVN directory, forever untouched.

That's why I don't believe DPC when he says he doesn't want BaDIK to be as dark as AL. Drama, especially the twisted/uncomfortable type, creates shock value, which in turn creates memories. You remember those twists, you remember the feelings, especially when it's well-written and well-rendered. I don't expect another Leah, but I wouldn't be surprised either.

Fall is the season of depression/suicide, after all, especially november, which comes right after Halloween... let's say I can't wait to see what will happen Ep10-11-12 already.

Except it's not a wild assumption. It's a 20GB game with some of the best writing and art I've ever seen in a porn game. Lesser games have dev teams - it only makes sense this one does too. And you weren't just calling me out - you went full incel there earlier.

No, it does not "only make sense". Every dev is different. In fact, there are so many single-person top developers that "it only makes sense" to not make any assumption that a top-shelf AVN game has a team-based developer behind it.

Just fooling with you, I realize some people doesn't like Quinn, and I understand why, really, I just think her obvious incoming redemption arc is great, I'm a sucker for broken personalities, even when they're as mean as her.

I also assume that these people are palladins with too high moral standards (I guess about the choice of their LI). Many of them prefer the CHICK way.
God, I can't imagine how these people play other games, Trevor's way in GTA V must make them drown in tears.

Well, either that or she'll just get redemption arc no matter what, but that'd be pretty silly deus ex machina.

I respect your viewpoints, and I think her finale may end up worst than jail, so yeah

Still, I'll eat that broccoli, cause you need good and evil to find balance, can't see why I wouldn't explore all the parts of BaDIK, all the parts create a healthy 'whole', and I especially like when there's a redemption arc ahead (I will forever disagree on that part with the few who think otherwise).

And well, it's just one of my paths, I am Legion, since I'm divided in many saves.

Yeah, the thing i half expect is, Vinny is going to take out Quinn at some point and she winds up in hospital or worse. This way you have a single storyline, people who don't like Quinn gets enjoyment of seeing some comeuppance (while simultaneously establishing Vinny as a serious asshole) and these who do like Quinn and got invested in "fixing her" get the anguish we're warned about in the game disclaimer, plus opportunity to complain forever how the poor girl got wronged. A win-win-win, sort of.
