I was working on a post, and I just found out my company discovered my internet line.


I've been using a long-forgotten DSL connection to surf at work. I've been here so long that everyone else who knew about it is gone. I patched a line directly from the router to my office and filled the rest of the ports with dead-end lines buried in the spider web of cables so no one tried to trace them. The bandwidth is slow as fuck, but it works, and it's the only way around the corporate firewall. (Employee of the Month, right?)


The IT head of our division came to me this morning asking if I knew about this mysterious DSL, because someone in accounting finally figured out we were paying a monthly fee for the service over the last 8 years and no one knew why. I'll be sneaking into the data room to disconnect the lines, because it's just a matter of time before they find it.


So, there goes my connection at work, and subsequently, there goes my main connection to all the fun shit that's blocked by the firewall, and all the lewd shit I don't have time and privacy for outside of the office.


Long story short, it looks like I'll be going dark very soon and for quite a while, or at least until I can figure out a replacement connection at the office.


While I'm gone, I need someone occasionally to tell Dalli he's nuts in OFT fashion. Here - use this:

1. Derek. Obviously.
2. Rusty. What a sweetheart.
3. Tommy. Yes, he's a massive DI(c)K, but he's also extremely dedicated to the frat, and funny as shit. He's fucked up, but deep down he's your bro.
4. Jacob. Close contender for my third place. He's smart and caring, all around great dude.
5. John boy, Jamie and Leon all sorta fade into a common ranking in my book. They haven't had a lot of screen time. The Jam-Jam arc is pretty sweet though, so is John Boy and Elena.
6. Nick. Mainly because he's a prime suspect, but his interactions are also weird. Weird in the sense that they seem like you're interacting with a facade. It feels to me like we haven't really seen his personality in any discernable way.

1. Tommy. Yeah, I was thinking who should be in the first position - and look who it is! Even for me, it's surprising.
2. Rusty. Great guy overall, but his indecisiveness is his biggest flaw. And I believe a leader can't afford to be indecisive.
3. John boy. Fuck if I know why, it's just how I feel
4. Leon. He seems fun and chill, although he's yet to show if there's something special about him, thus only 4th place.
5. Jacob. Good guy, but a bit of a pussy. And honestly, with his attitude of a nice guy, I don't know how he got to the frat.
6. Derek. Sure, it's fun to see him all the stupid shit he usually does, but that can only go so far when building friendship and trust (at least in my case). Also, he's fiercely loyal to Maya and will always put her first, not the DIKs or our Snowflake McFuckface. Of course, I'm not saying he should forget about his sister for the sake of the MC or the DIKs, but I have to take his priorities into account. Long story short - I don't trust the guy. I even have a vague picture of how his loyalty to Maya could directly contradict my MC's interests, but I guess that's another story; I got carried away, haven't I?
7. Jam-Jam. Basically the same problem as with Jacob, but even on a greater scale. Sometimes I wonder what a... soft guy like him is doing in this frat. Oh well, I suspect it's all Leon's influence.

Then, when you love the game, why do you want to use mods? Play it as DPC has it intended to play, for help there are plenty of walkthroughs here in the thread. So you can explore every time something new, the only reason to use a mod is to drop the minigames.

Mods can make the game feel more organic in a sense, if that's how one opts to use it. For example, you don't have to deal with the BS that is the choice of having to either take care of Sage or going out with Jill, as if it's impossible to do both things in a single day. You're also not limited to what I consider a very restricting morality system. Ultimately, one can do whatever he/she likes with the game, it's not anyone's business. No need to gatekeep people, mods exist since the dawn of time for many, many games.

0.8.3 is just a small patch for 0.8.2 version of the game. For the continuation, you'll want the Interlude, though it's not direct continuation, but more of a flashback focused on a character who's making appearance in season 3.

Well this sucks.

I was working on a post, and I just found out my company discovered my internet line.

I don't know your specific office/company environment, but this happened at one of the places I was contracting as well. We told them the "truth".

"Yes, we do have a DSL line. It's kept for the occasional main line outages if we have an emergency need, since it's very low bandwidth we don't broadcast it being there. We also use it for testing outside connections to see if the problem exists at the main company firewall or if it's something in the internet routing paths. Think of it as a diagostic service line, it's the first thing we check if anybody says there's an outage."

I mean, it's technically true, we also had a couple machines that connected to the DSL and the company network, for sharing files that for some reason couldn't go through the FTP server after corporate HQ mucked up a few things.

May be she would not be the patreon virgins ultimate fantasy, But She would be Definitely a Better Character. for a Chick MC there would be still Bella and Maya who are make more sense on that path.

I think that pretty much true already. Tybalt, was bitching about how he come from and raised to where he is now. So, I guess, He is like Sage, and came from an orphanage or something.
But while Sage grown to be a Decent Human, Tybalt ended up as an arrogant prick, who think he he rose by his own, and earned his entitlement. etc etc

Interesting. I could definitely se a heavily invested DIK MC downranking Derek. However, and this might be counterintuitive, but i think a Chick/Neutral MC that choses to be with Josy after having been with the throuple, will probably loose his friendship with Derek. If you severely hurt his sister, Derek is probably no longer in your camp. That said, I think Derek will take a bullet for the MC, he also helped immensely in coordinating the restoration of the Mansion, and has helped the MC at every given opportunity in the game, so in my book he is a 100% trustworthy.

In regards to Jacob and Jam-Jam, yeah they're softies, but also massive bros at the same time. Jacob giving you a lap dance, being grateful for you getting rid of the Alphas at the HOTs party. Let's not forgot how Jam-Jam is there cheering every time they sing the walk of shame song. He has a certain charm, also these moments made me chuckle:
