Here's the real scoop. All you need is 2 of 3 practice sessions out of the Ep4/Ep6/Ep8 guitar practices. That's all, nothing else. The conditional to help Jill:

That's all there is to it.

It's available during the Ep8 DIK's free roam #1 (not #2), you click on the guitar and get a menu choice including "Practice song for Jill":

Notice in SanchoMod's "Optional Task(s)" that "Practice on Jill's Song" is a criteria noted. It's just another way the mod might assist if desired.

Edit: Note that the reason I typed (not #2) is that in the second Ep8 free roam the guitar is NOT selectable... you must choose it during the FIRST Ep8 DIK's freeroam (or already have it in both Ep4 & Ep6 which negates the need to have Ep8... you only need 2 of the 3, you don't need all 3). You can trust me on this. I know my shit, I'm not Sancho for nothing, all others only try their best to copy me. Yes, that sounds arrogant but I'm sick of of the "green is best choice" bullshit and pirates stealing from fellow pirates so I'll always tell you like it is, no bullshit, no beating around the bush.

I think we're at crossed wires here, I was criticising the butthurt kids who were boycotting the game and in some cases Zargon's other game too) based on the one scene. I called her a "potential LI" as I believe that's how she was referred to by the devs.

FWIW I would welcome more realism in these games, as long as the MC is not in a relationship with a girl then that girl should be free to do whatever with whoever and if that happens to be in the vicinity of the MC then so be it.

For example I would have no problem with Sage hooking up with someone else on any of the playthroughs that aren't on her branch.

I got you bud. Again, it wasn't really directed at you personally but rather the mindset for consideration. It's all good, there's no cross wires nor crossroads.

Sage was in the relp before the MC even showed up to campus and ever saw her or even knew her fucked-up herbal name, so we have to properly consider that rationally... that's really my point. We weren't there first, therefore we are in for sloppy seconds by default if we (as a player) consider her an LI from the get-go or later on. She, again by default, already has/had history.

My first wife was a ginger and she was not a "fresh Spring flower". I knew that from the get-go in HS. By me being with her and having offspring was in no way NTR nor any derivative thereof. Again, that was my sole point and didn't mean it directed to you personally.

True but people see it as one or the other most of the time. If you aren't on her path and actively pursuing her then it's not NTR but I think the only way that would work is if there are two outcomes for the "LIs". One where if you are on her path, it doesn't happen, and another for if you aren't and it does. Otherwise it is NTR as many see it.

I have to strongly disagree FWIW. Someone's history before you even knew them does NOT fit any variant definition of "NTR". See my above post for brief reasoning. I reckon most folks really need to (at a minimum) gooooogle "NTR" to understand WTF it really is tbh. Again, this is not directed to you personally but rather the whole mindset dumpster fire that has become "any bitch that has ever fucked anything before me is NTR because she might be an LI at some point" nonsense. It's rather stupid imho, to the point of almost being Snowflake. (I'm not calling you a snowflake, but rather the mindset)

I bet certain groups of people moan about "missing tags" in a couple games I know of. For example AL and LoF, in those two game you can quite literally set someone up with a potential LI. I bet they love that.
