Do you have a theory where DPC introduced Lily to take Quinn's original place in the plot (the rebellious girl killed by the drug trade)? Just think about it... A rebellious girl... killed... by the drug trade... Killing Lily is just perfect for the plot and the DPC and most importantly Quinn and Riona's safety.

You bring up an interesting point, no other female character has sort of the same character type, with the exception maybe Zoe being a combo. How about her being introduced later? Usually, characters are introduced early to build emotional impact when they are inevitablely killed off. Also, Lily wasn't anywhere near the Grim Reaper on the roof, but maybe harbingers of death are just a red herring.

As an Isabella and Sage lover it wasn't very pleasant to read this... I imagine Isabella is actually one of the last characters to be written out as she is completely disconnected from the main plot, but Sage? Sage?! He's not going to destroy Sage's character in season three is he? I predict that half of these animations belong to nymphomanica Sage, again... The guy preferred to start writing the Other route than the Sage route, I have a bad feeling about this...

Lemme put your mind at ease, DPC is not gonna destroy any characters or storyline the game plot has been planned in advance (sure there are polls but they are for cosmetic purposes and special renders not for the story). IIRC there was even an old Patreon post where he disclosed that the story is pre written he's gonna release it in an episodic manner, wish I could show it to you but no longer a patron (college is expensive, I'm a pirate now ).

But don't take my word for it, take DPC's word for it.

Well, If Quinn died then rest of the game would have turned into one long D&G session. So Quinn's death is not an option. Poor Lily...

Sage and Isabella were the first LIs he worked on for EP9 and also the first LIs to get a preview if I'm not mistaken, you're reading way too much into things.
