Derek invited the other DIKs. Ergo, they had an invitation. But why didn't Derek invite his DIK father Rusty? It couldn't have been because of Jill, because she didn't necessarily like the DIKs, except for the MC.

Further one can read in Rooster that Tybalt Burke thought that the concert should take place in spring. So it was brought forward or it is a concert that was planned exclusively and on short notice.

Why is Micha at the concert? It is strange that Micha was at the concert and Rusty was not. The only reason could be that the ex-boyfriend invited Micha and therefore Rusty was not invited. But that would mean that Derek knows the ex-boyfriend of Micha or Micha per se.

I don't think Derek even knew about Rusty and Jill's past.
Tybalt really thought that the concert would be in the spring and Jill simply deceived him. In episode 7, when Tybalt brazenly interrupts Jill's rehearsal, makes her uncomfortable and brags about how he wants to learn how to play the cello, he asks her about the date of the concert:
"Like it will be in the spring?"
Jill: *uncertainly* "Yes."
I mean, she lied to him.
This fits in with the logic that the concert is little known in college, or closed and only for close friends, because otherwise Tybalt could find out about the real date. But if you think about it, then what part of zoomers are interested in piano music? Rather little known in this case and there are mostly friends, relatives of Jill as well as their friends and the college administration.

DPC has been doing a lot of things in the previous episodes I dont agree with:

- choosing a path so soon at this stage of the story closing a shit ton of options even more. (I am not doing multiple runs of this massive game)
- the girls you refuse don't fight back (except Jill, I think)
- the whole disaster that has been Maya & Josy since episode 4
- a whole episode dedicated to a pretty lackluster party in terms of plot (except Vinny being a douche)
- the lack of drama at Burke's and you cant break up with Jade nicely
- that extra Prelude episode that could EASILY be in episode 9 in a shorter form
- intresting mini-game but I wonder how much can DPC balance parties at the DIKs and storyline.

What gives me hope:

- cheating points, but we'll see how it ends up working
- opening paths might be possible

What Nat said, she is still quite loved, specially on DPC's discord. She's a little less represented here due to F95 usually allowing more honest debates and criticism, where as on the discord server if you say that the sky is shallow ocean blue instead of sky blue, you eat a ban

On a less funny note, most, myself included liked her too. I still play her route and do enjoy parts of it, but for most Episode 6 is what nudged her route into dislike territory.
Since most morally pick to help a friend in need(Sage) and say fuck the picnic, yet the picnic is a crucial part for the Jill route. A lot of people went with the route: If helping a friend is a DIK move, so be it.

Also the frozen wieners jokes are just gold and people take that over the picnic anyday.

At the end of the day, I can say for myself, and probaby a few others. We don't mind Jill so much as a character, but the ways DPC wrote her into a few corners. I for one loved Banana Jill, I genuinely laughed at that.

But DPC has been kind of making choices that make people dislike the Jill route and the MJ route too. But it's not like most hate the characters, just what is being done with them. If that makes any sense?

The point is not so that they are the same basic models, but why DPC chose these similar basic models. Even the basic models can be changed with sliders and morphs so that they have no resemblance to each other.

Yeah, I'm tempted to do a CHICK run where MC still bangs Jade and uses Quinn's restaurant where he fucks Sarah in the closet, and does drugs, just so I'll have a run prepared for the hilarious fallout where all of the CHICK love interests are confronted with their goody two shoes BF banging hookers and doing drugs.

Seriously, think about all the weird fucking interactions that have to be taken into account for pivotal canonical events in the game, no wonder this shit takes 9 months to create when you have 100 different tiny variables that need unique dialogue depending on how they all interact with each other.

Accepting the restaurant deal and using the services will change your affinity towards Dik...
