I think he's going to be putting too much into balancing the paths and will be creating unplanned lewd scenes later in development than before just so each path is presented evenly.

This week I started by working on some time-consuming art I had postponed but wanted to complete soon.

I updated my planning and flowcharts, played and polished parts of the episode, and wrote much of the missing content.

I have a handful of scenes left to write and a handful of lewd scenes that need animations. 20 scenes of varying length, including two free-roam events, need static renders. The range per scene is likely 20-200 static renders, so it's hard to tell how many renders are left to make. In my mind, it's at least 1000 more.

I have some important scenes left to create, and they will get the attention they deserve. There are other tasks I won't list left too. I'm considering making a checklist of what's left when we get closer.

The static render count is at 4267, and next week I will focus on it again - hopefully giving it a good bump. I'll have another preview ready for you soon. The animation queue is solid enough to last at least another week before I need to work on animations again.

I have a good flow, work very methodically, feel motivated, and am making good progress daily.

So...4200 statics in...~7 months means ~600 a month with 1000 still to go...add to that polishing and animations...really sounds like October at BEST, probably more November.

In fact I think he'll sooner or later come around to the idea of releasing a two-part episode every six months. Ocean has long since moved to this model, which allows for relatively stable releases. On the other hand it's unclear how he'll separate it, given the huge number of variables, but I think it's inevitable. He goes to a release once a calendar year or more. I don't know how patient his fans are.

Ocean is definitely not a model for update/release. It's been what? 5 years since he started his games? Along with their "remake"... I would take Episode 9 of BAD over any of this BS.

There are 7 episodes left (to achieve the 16), at this pace, it will take 5–7 years at least... considering that the first release was in February 2019 (9 episodes + interlude in 4 years and 5–6 months), the quality is increasing, the amount of renders too, so yes, if nothing changes, it will be in 2030... MORE THAN A DECADE.

Honestly 1000 renders isn't that much. A render is essentially any action. For example, in episode 9 there were scenes where characters had different reactions and facial expressions depending on your words/variables. Sage reacted differently to whether you called Zoey a friend or an ex-girlfriend. Or for example one scene shot from different angles is also different renders. We don't know how he counts the number of renders. The hardest part is the rigging/posing. In Daz it's incredibly awkward and wooden, the same goes for lighting. I haven't seen such slow gizmos as in Daz anywhere. Dr. Pink once said in a Q&A that he agonized over needing MC to carry a sword around with him at all times. Daz doesn't have fucking snap like Maya or Blender.

If you're a 1 man army then think like it, don't just put all your ideas into 1 episode, alot of people actually doesn't care about minigames but he's working hard on them. I don't care that much about animations & using same render or super high quality renders.
I've been playing S1-S2 for different routes and all but hell they came in what max 6-7 months ? They're fucking good and long enough and renders are good like i said i don't care that much about quality or quantity as long as they're not that bad.
I just want an episode like 7(which is best in my view) i don't want some big freeroam or 8K renders.

If you want to make big episodes with BIG NUMBERS just make yourself a team or buy more render machines we all know he has the money to do that.
