All colleges are need of constant extra funding. Even the richest universities are always asking for donations from their alumni and gifts from their wills. This could have been seen as a way of securing consistent funding from rich men, the men pay for the girls' tuition scholarships and also make an annual donation to the college as a way of keeping access to the restaurant and the new girls every year.

I fail to see how that would implicate the Royce family and their lawyer, if anything that type of activity would be something instigated by Burke and would not require the involvement of the Royce family or their lawyer, in fact I find the idea of involving any type of legal council in the management of a college prostitution ring to be highly unlikely.

I just played through 1-8 episodes again since almost 2 years; I just did Neutral/DIK Jill run and I'm gonna also prepare my canonical Others path (first to be played once EP10 comes out) and one each for Sage and Bella. I was inspired to write this after MC's and Bella's convo about him wanting to date Jill.

I grew so much as a person in the span of those 2 years (now 23), and even though I did already, I started to like BaDIK characters even more and appreciate the beauty and heart DPC pours into creating this established world. If not for sex scenes and render gathering, I would believe you; it's not a pornographic visual novel. Going back to characters, I found that the one character who grew the most in my eyes was Bella and I realised how much I liked her after that specific conversation.

And I have no idea why. Her character is great; she has her guard up but is a really warm person and she has a great sense of humour once it's down. She is the most helpful, mature and really protective of people close to her. I get why people assume we are heading towards some twist with her husband, but for now, I cannot freaking believe it, not one bit. There is nothing in her character, aside from being cold to strangers if she doesn't trust them, that could in any way scream "I'm hiding bodies in my closet".

Yeah, it would be a great twist, but it wouldn't fit the story, in my opinion. She's just not like that. Or maybe I just am in a deep world of helo effect; god, I hope not... What do you guys think about it?

Yeah but I don't see how we can get her without being on Jill's path (the Matthew cheating plot)

I like a good drama but we will have to deal with the MC being eaten alive by guilt just like the Sage/Jade path

I'm also replaying the Bella only path. What I noticed so far (EP 6) is that in contrast to all the other main LI Bella doesn't really open up about herself to MC. Sage, Josy, Maya and Jill all tell personal stuff about themselves. For Bella we get to know stuff through the way the story is told but MC doesn't have this knowledge. Would be cool if she shared personal stuff with MC (soon) in EP10. Otherwise I dunno....this doesn't bode well.

Because of how slow he is Fuckface still needs another reminder of where he has seen the mansion in Lynette's picture before even if on Jill path and having the picnic near the mansion and the picture of Jill with the same mansion. I think this is because the identity of Lynette's family is an important canonical plot point so Fuckface on Jill route can't be ahead of Fuckface on any other route for that plot.

For that reason I think Jill will invite Fuckface to the Royce mansion for some reason on all routes (potentially for her campaign in her sister's name), at this point Fuckface on all routes will be re-introduced to Bianca, but this time with Matthew and he will remember what he saw at the halloween party (the only issue is that I can't remember if it was optional to go to that room or whether it was a required task (therefore making it a canon event). And just like on the Jill route we'll be given the option whether to tell chosen LI about it (if on others route you'd probably talk to Derek or Zoey about it) and decide whether to tell Bianca. Bianca will probably make a move on Fuckface when she finds out on all routes (likely a forced turn down if on an LI route, but reaction could change cheating points).

yeah i like her too and even playing the game again one thing i also noticed there is more content with bella than the other LI for starter where you will stay after the jm drama(choice bella, sage, derek) and in ep 9(bella path) she came the earliest and have more scenes even the shots jealousy one that was hilarious and i think she deserves the best costume too

There's no reason for DPC to include Jill's campaign for her sister, including the call to Jonathan on how to publicise the campaign, if he has no plans for a future plot involving this campaign.

exactly the same reasoning applies to Jill's offer of help. in the same way asking for Burke's help has only served for now to let us know who Burke is to Sage


to me it seems a bit forced to involve a "just a friend" MC in this campaign that Jill cares about but she hasn't shared anything about so far. while MC is already involved in Maya's issue so it wouldn't be strange for him to accompany her this time too

Even if the poorer students can only donate a few dollars each it's still a good start to the fundraising. I'd expect basically the full cast to be invited to the fundraiser.

but above all it seems quite likely to me that this campaign is Jill's wish and not her family's, especially when linked to Lana apparently being estranged from her family

and then why in order to raise money Jill would invite her very poor friends to her very rich family and their rich friends? you need people with money, not numbers, it's not a pageant

She invites 30 students who donate $10 each, that's $300, it's not nothing, it's also about publicity, the more people she invites to the campaign opening the more word of mouth spreads and therefore more money comes in from strangers. For example, she invites Fuckface, the campaign makes an impression on him, he tells Neil and he looks into it and is also moved to try and help, he tells all his colleagues on the building site (lets say 10 people), they then tell their families and friends (lets say another 10 people each), they then tell all their friends (another 10 each). That's already 1+10+100+1000 so 1111 people, they donate $10 each that's over $11,000 and obviously the number grows exponentially from there as word of mouth spreads further and further out.

If I was Jonathan and Jill asked for my advice on how to start a fundraiser for her campaign that's what I would advise her to do.

and for $300 you feel it's appropriate to organize it at the Royce's? I would say completely out of line to ask for the hospitality of a family if not rich, at least with a big name, for a very low profile gathering

if Jill needs the money, she needs the friends of faliglia and her parents, not her schoolmates

if on the other hand she needs attention she needs as many people as possible, in which case she may still need her family, but for them to come to her or otherwise support her and not the other way around, and MC's presence would be very forced
