He is an abusive father who emotionally and physically abusing his kids. A punch to his face is the least he deserve, the thing what would hurt the cause if you fail to get the document.
He neede that reality check wiht that punch in my opinion.

Well, I was polite with him during the first meeting back in episode 7, and during this episode to, until the abuse. and I did not rub in to his face the " MY Father let me be who I wanna be " thing.

Maybe that was it...I honestly don't remember what I did in the old episodes in my DIK playthrough.

Stephen isn’t actually threatening Jade. He tells her he expects to divorce her and give her half their marital assets (i.e. everything the two of them acquired while married, which includes the millions he made at the brokerage). That’s typical in a no-fault community property divorce settlement.

If she foregoes that settlement and sues for damages, she won’t get anywhere. Adultery isn’t illegal, and in almost every state adultery isn’t considered grounds for damages. Jade won’t get another cent more unless there was a prenuptual agreement which penalizes either spouse for adultery. And, as stated, they had no prenup. She gets half.

That is, unless one or the other is embarrassed by the adultery. Then you can blackmail the other into accepting less than half. Blackmail is illegal; it’s a risk you take because you figure the blackmailee desperately doesn’t want word getting out of their adultery, because they have something big to lose. Like ruining your career as an educator because you’re fucking your students.

I dont know man, if he really would have hit maya i would agree. But i cant help myself and pitty this guy at this point somewhat, his life is too big of a burden for him to carry and while his actions towards maya suck badly, his intentions are kinda good.

He's sacrificing his whole life and happyness for his wife and family thats why i give him some slack. And punching your girlfriends or friends parent isnt really a great long term solution anyway lol.

I would prefer a outcome were patrick realises his misguided actions towards maya and they can stay a family (which maya seems to want, she doesnt want him out of her life, she wants his acceptance).

And i kinda feel/hope that the whole loan-stuff is kinda patrick bluffing, i think he's just paying for her college and the loan is fake which is kinda supported by the stuff maya is saying about her credit scores (damn shes so clueless lol).

Well, the right outcome is definitely MC showing sympathy for Maya and avoiding a scene with Patrick, of course.

Both girls love mc but it feels stronger with Josy. The photo Josy has of mc is from there first date in ep 1 she turns super so that date means a lot to Josy. If mc tells Josy in ep 5 he likes a little bit of a bush she will have one in this scene

I played my neutral-allin playthrough just right now... in episode 8 going for Jill, so breakup with Josy and Maya. Josy is total devasted, and she said it herself that she was in love with him, and maya (sage too) are telling that they feel something for MC but not as strong as Josy obviously...

Its not really hard to figure that out without doing a "breakup" with them... Especially at episode 7 and 8 its clear as daylight that Josys feeling are WAY stronger towards MC than Mayas. Even Elena sees that "this is love"

Josy is my favorite girl, was kinda hard to watch that... but curiosity got the better of me.

Well the shrooms saved my mood at least

This is normal considering Maya's past. Maya learned from her father that men cannot be trusted. The MC solves this blockage for Maya. This distrust has grown over the years and cannot be eliminated in just a few months. But Maya is opening up more and more.

Josy didn't have this disadvantage.

I'm not even sure if Patrick is doing what he's doing because it's his believes, but he's doing it for his wife and Maya's mother. She was the religious one in the beginning, doing the praying (he couldn't even speak the words).. and she was the one who mentioned that she wants to see Maya getting married and with child (IIRC) - so I guess Patrick is acting on the will of his dying wife.

I don't care why he became that way, Maya and Derek suffer the same way, but they together as a family would be more stronger, instead he is toxic and ruining everything.

For me that's weird that Maya still treat Patrick good and even feels something for him. She panicked when MC hit Patrick and became worried about him. She too kind.
The pragmatic approach is clear to me - Patrick is useful because he takes care of Helen and is the only one who earns money in the family. But I can’t understand this emotional attachment to him; with Derek it’s even more pronounced. Guys, your father has turned into a monster.

correct me if iam wrong... there wasnt an official android version. The one for season 1+2 is fanmade as far as i know and not continued for season 3.
