Josy and Maya's relationship toward MC is profoundly different.
between Josy and MC there is essentially a crush, they saw each other and liked each other, they don't really know each other that much, they first talked to each other the day before MC left for college.
Whereas between Maya and Mc on the contrary they started from a friendship that then, eventually became something else.
Josy not wanting to remain friends with MC after the breakup makes absolute sense, because they 2 have never been friends in their lives, and for the same reason it makes sense that Maya on the other hand all in all is fine with still staying in touch with MC, because MC is still one of the few people she trusts.

to this is also added a plot reason, Josy may prefer MC to Maya, Maya does not, the fact that she is more comfortable with MC is a very soft statement, which one can make even to a friend when one is in a complicated relationship. if Maya wanted to have an exclusive relationship with MC she would have solved the loan problem, and DPC cannot allow that.

I'm just writing this now just to make Maya lie so she can feel more comfortable with the MC. Why? Maya feels bad when her father just accepts her when he thinks Maya is straight. That's how it's written.

So I also suspect that it could be a mistake that Maya joins the MC in EP10. At the end of EP3, Maya says that she now knows what she has to do. So what's the easiest way out of Maya's situation? She just has to present Patrick with a boyfriend, prove that she has sex with a guy.

But when the MC goes to Josy, everything is based more on feelings. Josy and the MC get the chance to get to know each other even better. The MC also learns things from Josy about her relationship with Maya. Keyword piercing. But the scene with Josy in EP10 provides a connection to EP6.

There will be solo paths for Josy and Maya, but these will come with consequences. If Maya is with the MC, she will regret for the rest of her life for ending her relationship with Josy, her first love. If the MC is with Josy, Josy will suffer because she doesn't have both Maya and the MC. This could cause lasting damage to Josy and the MC's solo relationship. How do you come up with that?

During my playthrough I noticed one thing. The MC can actively prevent other people's relationships from being disrupted or interfering in others' relationships. The only exceptions are Josy and Maya. Therefore I think that all three (Josy, Maya and the MC) can only be truly happy together.

And she is more in control of her emotions than Josy is.

The funny thing is that you can have Envy/Nicole route as a Chick MC even though you need to make two major DIK decisions just to get on her route (do DIK stuff at the strip club and go with Tommy to the Milf bar) and you also have to qualify for the "others" route so you need to be very judicious with your DIK and relationship decisions to thread the needle. If you do it, you get to give her cuddles during her latest love scene.

You're not obliged to go to the bar with Tommy. You'll miss the threesome, but the most important thing with Nicole is to make her like the MC in Swyper. The next req for Nicole path is a CUM-petition activity at Halloween and going with Lily & Nicole to her place after.

First of all, Patrick isn't really religious. He was just grasping at the last straw he had left and was only using religion for his own ends.

Why would my MC want to reject Derek in EP8. Derek was there for my MC in EP4 when he needed Derek's help. One hand washes the other. Derek helped my MC, like in EP8 Derek gets the nod from my MC so he can stay in his room if he needs to. If it were otherwise, then my MC would be a brother license and I don't want that.

You forget who said that about the dress being too revealing and everything else. It was Patrick. The father who, outside the family, shows himself to be an overprotective idiot from his caring paternal mother, in Josy's words, but within the family he psychologically and physically abuses, controls and blackmails Maya and Derek. Besides, you forget everything Maya said. So that she hasn't had sex, but has had dates with other guys and so that she no longer believes her father's lies. She also said afterwards that she knows what she has to do now. Patrick doesn't believe Maya to have a boyfriend, so it has to be proven. Patrick is also such a religious father (sarcasm) that he has porn magazines and a computer. There are tons of porn sites on the internet. If he happens to see a picture of his daughter having sex with her boyfriend, he won't jerk off, but he'll have the confirmation he needs to believe Maya.

There will be some evidence either way. EP8 classroom or EP10 MC room. Only in the EP8 classroom we don't know who took the picture, but in EP10 we know who will be responsible for it.

That's exactly why Maya's solo path will have consequences. You describe it perfectly here. Now just imagine Maya doing that to the MC and the MC finding out everything years later.

Let's take a test of courage in Rusty's room. What can Maya say? So that Josy's wish is not wild in itself, but for Maya it is wild. Then in EP10, Maya asks the MC if he is about fun or feelings? As a player, prove your answer to Maya, because otherwise it's just words. When Maya is with the MC, it's mostly about sex. Things are different with Josy and the MC. It's about feelings.

The screenshots prove to Maya that the MC was honest with her when his answer was for her to want the feelings too. But Patrick is not convinced when Helen later finds out that the MC is her daughter Maya's boyfriend, to whom Patrick says, "It is certainly something out of the ordinary." What do we know from EP3? So that Maya no longer believes her father's lies and she knows what she has to do.

There is no reflection in a beer bottle, but there is in a glass of water. Hahaha, cool.

P.S. Many people were upset about Josy and Maya's decision in EP4 and criticized DPC because he could have done it differently. Now DPC is doing it differently in EP9 and EP10. You got your way.

There's no way she's using him or the feelings are not there. We even see her feelings are real on routes where MC is not with them two. Maya's feelings don't go away any more than Josy's she just handles it differently. If the MC admits he still has feelings for her during that hangout Maya freaks out and wishes he hadn't said it because she has them too and he essentially just dropped a bomb in her lap. You also see it when she talks to Sage and asks was this even worth it, grilling Sage on if she really cares for him since her and Josy just lost someone over her.

I also can't see Josy and Maya looking back much if they break up especially long term. Their relationship ultimately has been a fucking train wreck because of Patrick. We're at the stage Josy wears lingerie to try and get MC to fuck her. Maya is wearing thigh high socks for him. They're at each others throats over stupid shit. That relationship is dying.

I think that's why the throuple has them two get along better. Both Josy and Maya suddenly have an outlet in the MC and it takes the pressure off them both a little. I can't see either of them missing the other too much when they suddeny have far less problems and are happy with MC.

Josy may throw some hands if Maya dumps her for MC though. I cannot see her taking that at all well.

The most important detail for me is the pic on Josy's phone, for oogling and perhaps helping with a little masturbation. Is it Maya, or is it MC? And the pic stays there regardless of the state of her relationship with the MC. She simply likes guys better, and she does not loose her feelings for the MC.
