All is well, but weeks fly by too fast when you're having fun.

I'm still working on art for a bigger part of the episode, as reported earlier. I have ~100 more renders to go before I can move on to something else.

As I'm creating the art, I'm contemplating extending the current scene a bit more because it's turning out way better than I thought it would as it comes to life.

Currently, the renders are fairly quick to pose, especially compared to what has been done in the previously made ~450 renders for this special free roam event.

I'm really enjoying creating art right now.

I plan to work on lewd scenes immediately after I wrap up this area. I have to conclude one lewd scene that's almost done and then work on two other scenes for two main girls.

At the moment, 32 animations and 178 static renders are in the render queue. I'm hoping for another week of smooth sailing.

I didn't write that Zoey betrayed the MC. But now that I think about it, she actually did in a way. Was it stupid to listen to Bret? Absolutely. The betrayal is actually that she has known the MC for years and knows how he is emotionally. She's ignoring years of experience with the MC, who is her best friend, for advice from a guy she just met. In a way, that's a betrayal of friendship. But that's a subjective way of looking at it on my part.

The MC is not partly responsible for the breakup. To one he told Zoey to love her, only Zoey reacted shit to it. This left the MC confused and subsequently not knowing what love is. In EP10, the MC himself says to Zoey that he later realized what he had, because before he thought it was just the best friendship + sex. Zoey's reaction in the past is to blame for that. He did what a best friend should do. He let her go to San Diego so she could realize her dream.

Furthermore, we read so Zoey stopped responding to messages from the MC. The MC kept messaging Zoey and Zoey actively chose not to reply to the MC, her supposed best friend. The MC fought and wanted to maintain the friendship with Zoey at this distance. It doesn't matter what Zoey's motive was, you don't do that with your best friend. With that in mind, it's no wonder the MC said to Derek in EP9 that it felt like she threw him away. It's Zoey's fault because she's actually known the MC for years and knows how emotional he is.

Zoey runs away when things get tough, but Derek stays and helps. Neither of them are perfect. But I prefer friends who are loyal to the MC, even when things get tough. That's what makes a friendship in my eye.

there is also the fact that MC never knew his mom, his family from his mom's side rejects him, and he was bullied in school, and Zoey was his only friend. MC had some abandonment issues already, and she still left him knowing he would have no one else besides his father.

You show Derek as a devoted friend, but when did he do something for the MC? Never. Everything he does, he does for himself and sometimes for Maya. He is an egoist who hurts others without noticing it, but at the same time expects people to be sensitive and attentive towards him. Zoey and Derek make mistakes, but Zoey grows above herself, and Derek remains at the level of episode 1. Perhaps in the future this will change, but now it is so.

on the very first day they met, Derek helps MC by convincing his sister to share her room so MC doesn't sleep outside and doesn't give up on college, and also looks out for MC by telling him not to waste his time hitting on Maya. Derek saves MC from the mall cop during their naked run. Derek takes one for the team by fucking the old teacher. Derek welcomes MC in his dorm room after the fallout with Maya and Josy. Derek is one of the main contributor to fixing the mansion to help with MC's plan. etc. he became much less helpful after he messed up with Ashley, but he still contributed.

all of those add up, bro... it's weird that you see him as an egoist that only thinks about himself or expects others to give him attention, when he is literally only in college to support Maya and he is the first to volunteer to the help at the retirement home instead of the strip club.

Is doing a DIK run worth it? I always chose the chick path because some of the dik dialogue choices are so fucking mean

try a neutral run, it's worth it.

This is exactly the point I generally disagree with when I see the assessment of Zoey's behavior.

She was the one who wrote to MC every day and he responded half-heartedly or not at all. Objectively speaking, he was the one who sparked the breakup. Because how long can you keep talking to someone who clearly doesn't really want to talk? So Zoey's decision to stop contacting her was largely a result of MC's lack of activity.

So it's unfair to completely blame Zoey for cutting off contact.

MC made short replies, sure, but always replied quickly. Zoey decided to delay her replies more and more, until she completely stopped. it's weird that you remember it differently.

Like Emma, she didn't want the MC to think of her. She thought it would work and was happy with that. But Zoey made the biggest mistake she could have made after the Rooster Cluck from Emma.

IRL it would be truth, it's quite a common thing from 15-16 and sometimes even earlier. But picturing sex of persons below 18 is prohibited. Mentioning - not (about 16-18yo period, if I remember correctly). So in this game they only started when MC turned 18, and DPC made Zoey 1 year older purposely. They had only a few months of this sexual expirience before Zoey left to San Diego. It was quite obvious in Interlude. MC just started his dirty talks tries and Zoey left in a couple of weeks after.

Firstly, you should remember that in EP3 these are the MC's memories and not Zoey's, and the same goes for EP10. These are Zoey's memories and not the MC's. I'll give you a quick proof so the Zoey and MC sex in EP3 is not in the treehouse.

Start understanding slowly so DPC scatters the clue puzzle pieces throughout the game and not just in one scene. EP3 is the flashback from the MC about the memories with Zoey and the one in EP10 is Zoey's memories. In EP6, the MC gives Sage advice on her breakup and he can only have that experience with Zoey because she's his only ex and you only become an ex by breaking up first. This tells us why the MC was angry.

DPC wrote why he had to do Interlude. Firstly because of the technical part and secondly to understand the story. EP3, EP6, EP10 are connected to Interlude. There are probably other connections, but I haven't found them yet.

I just want to find out what, what is happening between Zoey and the MC that we don't know yet. Personally, I don't hate Zoey at all. In fact, I always decide that the MC isn't mad at Zoey. I have no problem with Zoey remaining or becoming a friend of the MC, whichever way you want to look at it. Friend okay, but no more.

Yeah, you're all so tangled in this "is the MC right, is Zoe right" shit that you're missing the whole point. Does the MC care enough about Zoe to let her back into is life? We all make mistakes and should be held accountable for them but only up to a point, especially mistakes like that made without malice. It's hard to keep a long distance relationship alive especially for people who crave a physical presence. The MC being resentful and distant to her just makes him look like a sour bitch.
It's all a matter of "is Zoe still important to me despite her past mistakes, or now that I made a shit ton of new friends and met dateable girls I don't need her anymore?" now.
