I really don't see a reason for all this mini game hate. You can always just turn them off and play how you want. Of course some of them were absolutely unnecessary, but I appreciate him giving an effort of giving us some gameplay. I only have problems with two, claw machine (this thing was made to make people suffer) and painting game, because until I updated my PC this game was next to unbeatable.DPC no longer knows how to please us....

I think they are fine, although I don't like the english word minigame that much. I just wish they would matter more, hopefully they will affect the story later on.

this is a matter of taste, you don't have to share it.
I personally believe that recently it has gotten out of hand, with minigames stuffed in everywhere, at every slightest opportunity. which has convinced me to exclude them from every run (making them every run in my opinion is objectively insane and boring). and I will still be forced to solve that fantastic cube every single run, and feed the fish...

Fish are a fine addition to our room. Makes it more lively, though plants did it to the same extent.

I stopped playing mini games after my second playthrough. It's annoying, tiresome, tedious, etc.... after a while.

but he really really fucked up the math. and as i said elsewhere he even randomized it, so a proper walkthrough cannot be created for it either. the perfect definition of Unfun

Using the hated Mod to avoid the beloved minigames could be the fatal offense toward DPC...thankfully we have SanchoMod that takes care all of that (well not the fish one but that's still super easy when you can cheat on the money
until now I have avoided the mod, partly because replaying it never weighed on me, but that was before chapter 9....

If switching off minigames didn't affect the gameplay (like the mansion one) I would switch them off, but apparently you can never be sure of it. So I have them enabled and then conveniently skip the fuckers with the mod. Best of both worlds.
