At the time I couldn't understand Bella.
The attraction was there, but for her it felt so wrong.
I remember feeling bad about kissing a married woman.
I figured she felt the same since she was being unfaithful to her husband...
...which, of course, is a very big deal.
But if I had known the real reasons to her tears...
...and to her persona...
I wouldn't have kissed her that night.
I would have called out for help.

Your mistake is assuming I'm scared of that instead of excited

Press SHIFT + G and make some settings adjustments. RenPy default perfomance settings are shit and source of lags & choppy animations and playthrough, transitions and things like minigame troubles you mentioned. By default the "powersave" mode is always enabled. Also in most cases GL2 renderer are set by RenPy by default and it's sucks for NVIDIA GPUs (you'll get accidental freezes from time to time and will have to alt-tab to recover).

Here is how to tweak any RenPy game properly (it saves settings per game, not globally, so try the same in other games you play too):

Why did you enable tearing?

You can expiriment on your own, perhaps it maybe be better to turn it off for iGPUs and laptops, but for PCs with at least GF 1050/1060 and higher GPUs it's better this way. Anyway, the most important setting is "powersave" cause with enabled state it only draws 5fps per second.

preferences.gl_framerate

This is either an integer, or None. If not None, it's a target framerate that Ren'Py will attempt to achieve. If this is set low (for example, to 30), on a monitor with a high framerate (say, 60 frames per second), Ren'Py will only draw on every other frame.
If None, Ren'Py will attempt to draw at the monitor's full framerate.

preferences.gl_powersave

This determines how often Ren'Py will redraw an unchanging screen. If True, Ren'Py will only draw the screen 5 times a second. If False, it will always draw at the full framerate possible.

preferences.gl_tearing

This determines if tearing (True) or frameskip (False) is the preferred behavior when the game can't keep up with its intended framerate.

I don't remember if I downloaded Season 3 yet. Does it have seasons one and two connected to it, or do I have to import my saves from season 2 to 3?

At the end of season 2 (episode 8) the game prompts you to make a special save that you can import to season 3. Season 3 menu has the option "import" instead of "new game". From there you can select an importable save to continue the game.

Thanks. That's what I figured, but wanted to make sure.

I'm still quite confused despite all the help posts. I followed all instructions and am able to import stuff into Season 3. Do we have to play through episode 9 again or something? Regardless of what I import/load, I still only have the option to go into the interlude (or skip) or straight to season 9 and I didn't see any posts addressing specifically that. Am I missing something or is it intended?
