If the idea is to avoid all side girls, Bella is the best option. You can balance things out in other parts of the run, but you basically sleep on massive points if you choose Sage or Derek. If Sage is an option you get to go to the movie night even if you don't choose her, so by choosing Bella you really only lose Sage's pool scene.
The interlude episode between episodes 8 and 9 is played from the perspective of a female character. Very small part of the game that you can skip, but it technically justifies "female protagonist" and "multiple protagonists" tags. There are some other tags that technically apply but have very little presence.

I definitely don't hate Bella, but as an LI i have zero interest. She's a great friend for the MC imo though.
If you still don't tried her LI route, I recommend it. I'm not a MILFy guy myself, but chemistry between them is fun and challenging and Bella's humour always make me laugh. Their beer-pong game was nuts.
Bella has a bad first season, only the fourth chapter if you go by her is worthy, but she is one of the few characters to have an good second season

My biggest issue with Bella is her body, the proporsions are so weird and exagerated, other characters bodies dont look as weird.
It's general problem with a mature woman looks in VNs, many of them are cartoonishly curvy. It's like they came straight out of a porn comic. Ofc this look exists IRL, but not for most women over 35. Bella, Nora, and even Jade are too curvy.
