True, there are no rules, the problem is that we can't fight dirty either. I guess DPC didn't think of that, maybe that's why the only three characters that fight dirty are dawe, tommy and vinny.

Start with Season 1-2 file, you'll need to click spoiler under 'Season 1-2' to see them. After you finish that you can transfer your saves into season 3. Have fun.
