Jacob and Zoey at least share a passion for art, it is a much more real common ground that can become the starting point of a friendship, if Jacob were not a coward.

Never got her scene cuz I always sacrificed the VIP privilege for the money so I could Ace the DIK house repairs. Not that you actually need to, but I got addicted during my four quick playthroughs to seeing how high I could get the money up after getting the windows purchased.

yes, everyone has these. i think in these things (wish and adventure) Zoey and Derek's attitude are common. i am 110% sure if Derek would be in mc's situation, he would have choose Zoey and surfing while Jacob would did the same as mc.
if Jill or Quinn would have been in Zoey's shoes, Jill would have been choose the collage. Quinn try again and again the surfing. no give up.
passion for art is good for two thing. talk starter and sympathy. funny, but hate for school is could have the same effect.
