There are just way to many people around here who want to have a dark thriller movie kind of game while DPC made it more than once VERY clear that this game will be mainly a fun game just with some drama and a little bit of dark approach here and there but nothing like Acting Lessons or some kind of thriller movie. But he sure likes to play weith his audience here and there and tease them with it.
So, no super mega drug lord thingy.
Dont know why so many make such a big deal out of the drugs anyways. They dont even deal enough shit to get in jail for it at this point. (maybe Vinny and Buddy, but thats about it)
The drama in this game are just small fires, nothing more... people tend to make way more out of this than it is and will be.
Burke might be sued in the end and lose his position and thats about it... Quinn might get expelled if it will be discovered and thats about it too. In the end, Vinny and Buddy are the only ones so far who will go to jail if everything will blew up, and that will be more or less the only serious consequences this game will have.
It might not be totally light-hearted all the way, but DPC explained it more than once that this is not some "Departed" movie thing and never will be. Dont make more out of it than it is.
There are no official ETAs, you will know the date about 2 weeks before the actual release, not much earlier. And nobody knows that now, not even DPC.
We are only GUESSING which date it might be and november-January is the best bet for a timeframe so far i would say.
