The full version that you've already downloaded works for everyone else, so I doubt that's the problem (when you unzipped it, if it didn't report a problem you should be fine).I tried it, it didn't work

Just post a screen shot of the error, and also post the log.txt and traceback.txt files in the main folder of the game. Without that info, it's unlikely anyone can help much.
Although, you could try updating your video card drivers as well.
