I have never made any negative comments about the game or Dr. Pinkcake. He blocked me on Discord just because I said the Josy/Maya path was beautiful. Do you think this is normal behavior? He could have given a warning first instead of blocking. I follow a lot of games on Patreon and Discord. I have 3-4 games that I support financially. I have never been banned from any of them.

That's an absurd reason for ban and I don't see what's wrong here.
It is none of his business what third-party BaDIK communities his patrons participate in, which he doesn't control.
Continuous work on the game for years didn't have the best effect on his mental state; the guy has long needed a psychologist.

NO OMG here (there is only one sorority when the game starts, the HOTs) and she is studying on B&R and this is her third year (you can decide if she is a HOT)

I suggest cancel your subscription to dpc patreon (unless he aldo banned from there) and move on. At the end of the day we don't know what's running on dpc head

There two options for the ban: DPC just had a very bad day and there is no relation between posting here and the ban (I want to believe this one) or DPC lurks here and he punished Castiel because one of the posts he wrote here (It will be very creepy and vindictive but if I had to bet, I'd choose this one)

I could test this theory, subscribe to his Patreon for a month and join his Discord (subscribing to Patreon gives you access to his Discord) and write something. If I get banned, then I'm right... but I won't spend money to test it.
I have the first two seasons on Steam and I think that's enough.
Reading the discussion about development time got me curious.
Has anybody worked with RenPy before? How is it to work with? Are there better/worse engines for a VN?
How advanced of a programmer do you need to be able to do a game like this?
What is the main reason for the 10+ months to develop a new episode? Writing? Programming? Rendering?
Not here to criticise anyone, just want to learn and get a better understanding of things.

He's obsessive and has a chip on his shoulder. Not the first time that I've heard of people guessing that he lurks on here as well as the subreddit either.

Hmmmmm then we can say that Jill and Bella are still the best of friends in the B&R. She lives in the dorm. She was in relationship with James. But the James gets an opportunity to further his studies abroad and grab it. They were on a long distance relationship but then suddenly the communication with James stopped.
She is also an RA(resident advisor) in the B&R so most of the student still afraid of her.
She was introduced to mc by Jill. At first she thinks mc is just another douche who wants to hook up with Jill. But as time progress she finds out that mc is a genuine person
She develops feeling to mc and at first she tried to avoid him. But because she is an RA she was assigned as a tutor to the mc to help improve his grade.
During that time her feelings grew stronger for the mc. At the time Jill already had a feeling for mc and Bella knows it. Jill notice that Bella is acting unusual and knows something is wrong. Jill confronted Bella about this and she admitted to Jill that she is also has a feeling to mc. At first Jill is angry because Bella is the one who push her to tey and have a relationship. But Jill understand that because mc is genuine person Bella fell in love with him.
Bella said to Jill that she just need to forget what she said because she is still has a lingering feelings for James. Jill said that she cannot just forget about what she said and also push Bella to pursue what she feels for mc and stop living in the past. Jill also mention that mc can decide who she truly between the two of them and whatever happens they arw still friends.
That's my scenario you can comment on it or bash it for all I care

In real life Quinn would be a mistake, but in this game I’m totally interested in finding out where it’s headed with her.
Of all the characters, her warming up to the mc has been the most enjoyable. Pretty much every other main and side girl has been pro mc from the start, with maybe Bella being the only exception.
The slow change with Quinn from the beginning right up to her kissing him in public in episode 8, to me, has been the most rewarding aspect of the game.
All of the characters have their own pacing, with Josy fucking the mc almost right off the bat, compared with Jill taking 8 episodes to even show her tits to the mc (granted she fucked him only moments later), but regardless, all of them (including Sage even if she denies it), wanted to be with the mc.
To me, Quinn seems to be the only girl who has fallen for the mc over time, and it’s been a joy to watch.

I kinda feel bad for Quinn, the more we see of her past, the more it all makes sense.
Since she was very little, her dad has been grooming her to work in the drug business; don't trust anyone, don't let your guard down, always try to be 2 steps ahead of everyone else.
Although she seems tight with Riona, it's clear she's only trusting her out of necessity, and doesn't confide in her any more than she has to. Like her dad says:
Rox: "And even if you're forced to trust someone else... Keep them at arm's length without letting them know about it."
What kind of fucked up way to live is that?
And now her dad's gone (dead?) she has no one. Even Buddy, who seems to be running the show in Rox's absence, Quinn was told by her dad to keep "at arm's length".
Ultimately she's alone.
But with the mc it's different. She plays it tough, she tries to keep him at a distance emotionally, but he's getting to her. She wants to be close to him, she longs for it.
At first he was just another freshman for her to have fun with, screw with his mind and all that. But it didn't take long for him to start getting to her. Throughout the whole story she's been dropping her guard around him more and more, breaking her own rules, he actually makes her happy.
And I don't think she's playing the long con, using him for some patsy for some scheme she's got going on - in episode 7, when he falls asleep on her bed, she cuddles up to him, just for a while. She longs for that intimacy she has been denied by her dad's teaching.
So yeah, her narcissism stems from her perpetual self preservation instilled in her from her dad, but a psychopath? I don't think so. Most of her unpleasant behaviour seems to be a cover, hiding her own vulnerability. But hopefully she'll learn, even if there is an inherent risk in letting people into your life, it makes life all the much better to live.
Of course, none of this is an excuse for her behaviour, just the reason for it. In real life, this is not the kind of woman to get involved with, you'll inevitably end up going down with her, or because of her. But it's porn game, and she's fun.
And really, if you consider all the characters in this game, you'd surely interact with them differently in real life:
How I enjoy this game, and how I would handle it in real life, are so fucking different.
In game:
- Bella: A sexual beast just waiting to erupt, her sex scenes are raw, carnal enjoyment. Totally worth the effort.
- Quinn: I want to break down that hostile exterior and make her putty in the mc's hands. I'm prepared for the fallout.
- Maya: She can be fun when she's not stressing out, and who wouldn't want a lesbian conversion as a notch on their belt?
- Jill: Sweet, naïve young Jill, looking to be schooled in the ways of pleasure by a patient guy. I'm willing.
- Sage: She's great entertainment, and the sex is so much fun (just how it should be). What's not to like?
- Josy: Perfect Josy, the epitome of the girl next door. I would never pass this girl up.
- Bella: Fuck that, angry old cunt, not worth the effort!
- Quinn: Fuck that, psycho bitch, not worth the risk!
- Maya: Fuck that, self absorbed, baggage ridden, damsel in distress, not worth the drama!
- Jill: Fuck that, stupid rich bitch with no idea how the world works, not worth the headache!
- Sage: Fuck that, hung-up-on-some-other-dude, angry, vindictive psycho with emotional problems, not worth the castration!
- Josy: Fucking perfect!

James doesn't exist in this What if (read it twice)
We know the Bella in the game was in a sorority (OMG) and she was more like a party girl, so I think she will join the HOTs. Being a year older than Sage, she could be the vicepresident (She is very smart, organized and helpful) instead of Quinn
Being in the same year as Jill, they knew each other, but being one so shy and another a HOTs, it's not impossible they are just friends, no BFF
Bella would have two options to know Tremolo: via HOTs and via Jill so a Bella path will be very different (the romantic triangle Jill/Bella/Tremolo will also start sooner)
In this "What if" the crossroad is Bella being a HOT or being a normal student, two very different options

In almost all the AVN I have played I have tried to play ignoring my tastes in RL, but sometimes I can't. I was bullied pretty badly (comparable with Tremolo's bullying) physically and emotionally during my childhood and part of my adolescence, and Quinn made me remember those years. I understand her origins and her trauma, but there is no excuse for many of the actions she made. For example, lying Tremolo to be her bodyguard when she "has feelings" for him, when she knows about the fight between Vinny (being armed) and him
About the girls in RL, let's be honest, if we had had an option with any of the five MG, we didn't care about their quirks
