But in the meantime, let's have a serious discussion about Josy, and her infatuation with MC.

Of the 5 Main Girls, she's definitely the craziest for him, and openly takes it the hardest when dumped. But that doesnt necessarily translate to love. She has an advantage over the others, having worked with MC for nearly two months over the summer, but both of them acknowledge they never really got to know each other until the very end, with their first date in Episode 1. He was basically a nervous pussy who acted like a virgin, and she just admired him from afar, held back by her "boyfriend". We learn later that she was checking him out on Rooster too, even though his account was disabled at the time? That's what he said when talking to Zoey, and we don't gain access until Episode 3. He's a good looking dude, not an asshole like Steve, and clearly had a crush on her as well. But the attraction is extremely unbalanced, she likes him MUCH more than he likes her, even taking into consideration his Episode 4 hissy fit.

Josy was in a very strained, secret relationship with Maya. She started crushing hard on her quiet coworker over the summer. The plan to be with Maya seems to be failing, as she hasn't been accepted to B&R yet. So she decides to give in to her emotions and hook up with MC, only to stop out of guilt and give him the bad news. This is where things get fuzzy.

She invites MC over for what I assume is a last-ditch effort to be with him, because she had just quit her job and was planning on just leaving town. But then later she's accepted into B&R, only tells MC and not Maya, and it sounded like she was going to ultimately choose him. Then we know how the rest of the story goes.

Okay, I devolved into just summarizing. My point is that there's no real foundation for Josy to be so obsessed with MC in the first place. This is a gameplay limitation, but even if you ignore and reject her as much as possible, she's still pining for MC. MC seems like more of an idea, a promise of escape from all the drama involved with dating Maya, where she can be carefree and have it easy.

She just so happens to be right if you do pursue her.

You are right. The reason for this screwed up economy in porn games is due to the fact that porn games are not mainstream and so there's no economies of scale to be had. While a handful of porn games, like Being a DIK, seem to have broken through to becoming a bit less niche, it's still not something any of us will talk with coworkers (or even close friends!) about. And because so much porn is hidden away and private, most people don't buy it (as evidenced by all of us here on this forum), but steal it instead. So given all that, how would most AVN developers ever see any real commercial success? Instead they must rely almost entirely on a much smaller group of core funders.

The only way to change this would be for all us here to stop downloading "free" games and play only what we buy.

I love the way PC gives an 'upgrade' to the girls who are going to have a scene. Something similar happened with Heather in episode 9; she looked absolutely beautiful, wearing a wonderful hairstyle. But then, in episode 10 (and episode 11, if you consider the previews), she returns with her dry hair. At least this 'upgrade' to Elena's butt might mean that we'll actually get a scene with her in episode 11

Honestly people make too much of a fuss over Josy "obsession".

She is a teenager girl head over heels over someone, doesn't matter they didn't have that much time together, those things even happen in real life.

Some people are just "weirded out" because its a girl doing it Doesn't help that most people here are male as well.

Combine that with the way the game was written and how important the Josy/Maya twist was to the game, it makes sense that she would be interested in the MC regardless of any interest of his part.

And that isn't even what happened, the MC having a crush on Josy was absolutely canon and we are forced to to spend time with her.

Its honestly one of the weaker parts of the game, but I undestand why DPC did it, since it would make the game even more complex to make with all these variations, and remember the earlier episodes were extremely short compared to the recent ones and DPC, at the time, really didn't have enough resources for expading the game that much.

For the people saying that Josy will be another AL nurse, I really doubt DPC would repeat itself like that, it would be utterly unoriginal and boring, also BAK won't get as dark as AL.

Here's the thing. With the other 4 MGs, I feel an actual progression of feelings building up. They all start at various levels of liking MC, with Bella definitely liking him the least, but it grows into something more. Rekindling romance, finding love for the first time, having a connection beyond physical intimacy, discovering that you love cock feeling accepted and beloved, there's a lot going on with Bella, Jill, Sage and Maya. There's similar journeys going on with the side girls too.

But on a scale of 1 to 10, Josy started at a 9 in how she feels about MC, and gets cranked up to 11 in their whirlwind romance. I'm not "weirded out", Josy is just underdeveloped.
