A lot of this stuff however is very much "person claims something happened to them with no evidence" and people taking it as gospel. DPC works the way they work, and given how many of those here express their "constructive criticism" I can easily imagine what their "just expressed my view on the game" may have been unwanted in the discord.

There's stuff I find weird about DPC's decisions (the feature-creep of animations being the main one) but at the end of the day it's their game and it's probably the best AVN out there so far so they're clearly doing something right.

I agree. I had a discussion with someone who got banned because they leaked episodes and argued that they had a right to do so since DPC used to post his first episodes for free, so some of the complaints can be very unreasonable.
DPC has to go through a lot of crap so it's unfortunately easy for some collateral damage to happen. He doesn't have time to thoroughly review every case.

I'm banned too. Because of a misunderstanding that english not being my mothertounge caused. And then they banned me before I could explain. I would really like to support the guy because his work is amazing but if he bans me from patreon then there's not much I can do...

I can see how something like that can happen. And being busy, he doesn't have time to discuss it and getting a hold of him is proberbly difficult. I choose to support though Steam/GOG instead so that is an option.
